Non-televised academy matches

Currently winning 3-1 away to West Brom (Lacey hattrick) - Why on earth can this game not be televised on MUTV? Because it clashes with Sunderland vs Burnley?

That’s the excuse the club is using, but that broadcasting rule doesn’t exist anymore.

Because the club is cheap as feck and would rather make up excuses and lie to fans than pay for a camera operator for a few hours.
 
United U16s are into the final of the PL Cup, looking to make it 3 national titles in a row. Not sure who they beat or who they'll face.

Actually, not sure it's the Cup final but rather the Shield final which is contested by the teams that don't make it out the group stage.
 
U13s qualified for the PL International Tournament today, with wins over Burnley (3-0), Liverpool (3-1) & a 0-0 draw with Stoke.
 
16s lost 4-2 to City, Silva Mexes scored both goals. Was a big melee apparently which ended in a red card apiece.

Club handling his development really well. Easy to see his lack of first-team involvement & recent games with the 18s as a step backwards but his all-round game is definitely coming on. Still more work to do but good signs.
 
Thwaites with one assist and McCormack with 2 assists apparently. Leicester down to 10 men before Obi scored his last 2 goals

"However, United had the final say of the half when Obi netted his brace with a fine individual goal. After receiving the ball outside the box, the striker beat the defender with great skill before smashing home."

and fourth goal as

However, the striker wasn’t done there, as he used an outrageous piece of skill before calmly slotting under the goalkeeper."

Jaice Dore scored a hat-trick for the U15s tonight as they beat Stoke in the Floodlit Cup Shield (competiton for teams knocked out in the group stage). United play Everton in the quarter-finals.
 
u21s drew 1-1 with Birmingham City tonight.

Next match will be on MUTV but it is as 13:00 next Friday. Wtf is up with all of these midday matches on weekdays recently? They don't show half of the matches and the ones they have recently are at a time when no one with a job can watch anyway.

United beat Everton 2-0 tonight. They will play Forest in the semis.
 
U14s played their Premier League International Tournament qualifiers today. They lost 1-0 to Ipswich, before beating Derby 3-1 & Crystal Palace 5-0.

That leaves us in 5th place with the top 9 qualifying, however another 14 teams play their fixtures next week, so it remains to be seen whether we'll make it.
 
16s beat Blackburn today as well. Kai Rooney scored 2 & assisted 2 in 40 minutes before switching over to the 18s.

U14s beat Reading 4-0 today in the Albert Phelan Shield semi-finals. They will play Liverpool in the final.

U10s won a Premier League 5-aside tournament today. They won all 6 of their group games, before beating Everton in the semis & then another Everton team in the final.

United were split into 3 teams, with the other two finishing 10th & 11th.
 
It seems every single U18 and U21 game in april will be shown live on MUTV ...

Starting XI was:

Osuchukwu - Camacho, Emsden-James, Ibragimov, Walker - Carrick (c), McLaughlin - Rooney, ? , DeJonge-Seiros - Mpofu

Silva Mexes & Pharell Silvester featured off the bench as well as U15s Brian Nyoni & Joseph Akinsanya.
