Norwich City Football Club - nicknamed The Canaries, Yellows, and The Citizens - are a professional football club based in Norwich, Norfolk. Norwich City F.C. was formed following a meeting at the Criterion Cafe in Norwich on 17 June 1902. During the First World War, with football suspended and facing spiraling debts, City went into voluntary liquidation in 1917, and were officially reformed in 1919. After struggling to crack into the top tier of English football for decades, Norwich finally got promoted into the First Division under Ron Saunders in 1972, sandwiching two League Cup titles - won in 1962 and 1985. In recent season, Norwich City have re-acquired their reputation as a "yo-yo club", oscillating between the Premier League and the Championship. Norwich's most prominent rivalry includes fellow East Anglican club Ipswich Town, followed by minor rivalries with Colchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United; and they play their home games at Carrow Road Norwich.

Norwich fighting to stay out of relegation. Won't be easy, especially considering our away form.

Our target is to score 1 goal per game. (I sound like a song on repeat)
    So, I will go 1-0 or 1-1.
I think either team can win this game.

I expect Moppy to be banned and Carrick rested for the mid-week trip to West Ham.

    De Gea

    Valencia
    Smalling
    Blind
    Rojo

    Schneiderlin
    Herrera
    Rooney

    Lingard
    Rashford
    Martial

Sort of reminds me of when we got bossed by Hull last season around this time. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong as we still might have something to fight for.

    A loser's mentality.
Anyway this is the type of game we'll lose or draw. Hopefully we can change that.

    De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Blind--Rojo
    Schneiderlin
    Mata--Rooney
    Lingard--Rashford--Martial

We really have to win this game. If we don't then the City-Arsenal game will be meaningless for us, no matter the result.

If we win this we'll go 1 point behind City and put pressure on them before they play Arsenal on Sunday. City defensively aren't great so I wouldn't be surprised to see Arsenal get something, especially as they play in the CL 4 days before.

Norwich were really good against Arsenal, and were unlucky to not to get anything out of the game. Be a tough game. They'll be fighting for their lives.

Think we should go with the same team. We were good today.

Arsenal only just managed to break them down at the Emirates yesterday. They will fancy their chances at home against a shit United with one eye on the FA Cup final. I'm going for a 1-0 to Norwich.

See if that makes the i Newspaper too! :)

Tough game. They deserved something from the Arsenal game. It's their spare game and they need 3 point more than ever. I can sense a 1-1 draw again. Hopefully their historic win at Old Trafford can act an extra incentive for the players who really care. And City slipping up keeps it interesting.

You want Rojo to start this match after todays performance? I'd rather see Darmian play. Would like to see Fosu-Mensah involved too. Mata for Lingard also an option. Every remaining match is a final for us now, and only 3 points is good enough for us.

I wouldn't pick Rojo but I was listing what I think the team will be, not what I want it to be.

    The road is my home.
It's a must-win game for us, 3 points from this will create huge pressure for City for their game against Arsenal.

Not looking past Norwich but beat them and city lose then we have a huge game against West Ham with added focus.

We need to keep pushing for 4th has it will keep the performances levels up to scratch leading to the cup final.

With City playing away against Swansea in the last game of the season, we have every chance if we win our remaining games.

I would be shocked if we dropped off now with squad players trying to force their way into the starting 11 against palace?

Utd win by 2 goals to zip.

Is it a certainty that Fellaini will be banned?
I think so. Almost every paper has made a big deal of this and most of them have ignored Huth's hair pull. I think the ban is on.
Didn't he finish last season also with a suspension?

He did. That was a stupid sending off as well. Problem now is that refs will be looking out for him and his elbows. He has been incredibly lucky so far.

City's defeat means we still have something to play for. Any win will do, I don't care if we completely tear them apart or whether it's an OG off a deflected Tony V cross in Fergie time. If we get all three points and City don't win it's in our hands, albeit our spare game is West Ham away.

We ll blow them away with a 0-1 win.
This is possible. I think its going to be a low scoring game (as per normal with us), but it could go either way.
Didn't Norwich beat us this season already? I think they did.
It pains me to say it, but Norwich will not be easy. Unfortunately, this has now become our level.

I've just realised this too, so its not actually as dead as I thought. Having said that, City will batter Arsenal.

Not sure about that. I think both teams will play to win (finishing 3rd is the goal) and City look like more poor as a team.

If City are in the final of the Champions League they will surely rest key players too.

why should they rest someone - the final would be some weeks later. the best bet is to hope that city gets smacked by real and has a european hangover against arsenal imo. that would be my ideal scenario at least

Won't be easy, but they're on very poor form and we've been OK other than the explosion against Spurs. I reckon we're playing them at the right time and they're going down.

Ah I hadn't appreciated the gap in fixtures. Yeah better hope they get a few injuries tomorrow and Arsenal do us a favour.

Sod it - I've gone for a 0 - 5 win for us; surely there must be one game this season where we give the opposition a thrashing!

    LvG's Line Up...

    De Gea
    Rojo
    Blind
    Smalling
    Valencia
    Schneiderlin
    Carrick
    Martial
    Rooney

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4-2-3-1 with Carrick-Morgan the 2 and Lingard, Rooney, Martial & Rashford the front four.

The next 2 games are precisely when we need the LVG method.
Bore the feck out of the fans.
    Fluke a goal.
