Noussair Mazraoui | 2026/27 Performances

He's as bad as the current Shaw. Zero athleticism. We need to avoid players like this from now
 
He has such a limited passing range, he can't attack and he's an awful crosser of the ball.
 
We should try making him wear the Moroccan jersey underneath. He’s a completely different player to the one we saw at the World Cup and that was with him playing out of position.
 
He looks like another Amorim's player. Good RCB, but not really a Full Back nor Center Back.
He's a cover for Dalot at best. Can't stop crosses or put a good cross in.
 
He’s not good enough for the first 11, the problem is neither I’d Dalot, we need a world class right back (and left back) then sell whichever of Maz and Dalot that will bring in the most money.

We’ll not miss either if we’re being honest.
 
Never understood why he started ahead of Dalot yesterday, and I'm no great fan of Dalot. Mazraoui is arguably better technically but Dalot's physicality would've been so much more useful in a game against a newly promoted side. We needed someone who could get up and down, and make runs beyond the winger. Strange decision.

Agree with all of this. Dalot gets a lot of stick but he has some useful attributes and is never just invisible
 
Should be sold this transfer window to recover some money.

I saw on a video that in His last 7 games for us we have lost points from draws or losses. I don't think that's a coincidence.

His games for Morroco shouldn't influence his future at United.

I do like him but he is better defending than attacking so ultimately better when we have to defend like Morroco does or when he plays centrally in a back 3.

Spent parts of the summer in the transfer forum arguing with people who said he’d be great RB and LB cover or in some cases he was better than Dalot and should start. I couldn’t understand why people would think either. He’s a decent-ish defender but he just can’t overlap or contribute offensively. Hes slow. Dalot is a much better fullback who can get up and down, is quick, and has the physicality needed.

Best performances probably came as a RCB in a back 3 under Amorim.

Think you could get away with him at either FB as someone who tucks in more. That would need the opposite FB to be very attacking though, which we don't really have, and put more pressure on the winger playing his side to do it himself, or for a CM to be their main support and provide an overlap.

Think that's why he looks decent at LB. Gets to just tuck inside rather than overlapping the winger.
 
Would be a sell candidate for me to try and generate some revenue for a right back that offers more attacking threat.

Sell him to Turkey so he can go finish the hair transplant.
 
One of the players you can just tell doesn’t actually give a feck. His effort and quality for us has been minimal since a few week after he joined. I’d love to see him sold and replaced.
 
He's not a left back, he's only playing there cause we haven't done what we should have so far in the market. Hopefully we will do
 
Incredibly shit clearance to give them a chance to shoot.

Genuinely don't like the shape of the team when we make a ton of defensive subs and have zero ability to hold onto the ball, just so amateurish and has been the case under so many managers now.
 
The 2nd coming of Telles without the crossing ability or long range shots. I already called him one of the most physically lacking fullbacks we've had at the club and he keeps proving me right. Why are you not putting your foot through the ball that late? He had barely played 10 mins as well, I'm fuming.
 
I was reliably informed he was bought to unlock Antony's attacking prowess. Sadly there's no Antony to unlock anymore unless we come across Betis in the CL.

Definitely should be sold and a new RB brought in to challenge Dalot.
 
He should have been sold when Milan showed interest. He was never ever good enough
 
After he fecked up the clearance he should have followed through and closed down the guy who scored but he did nothing
 
A worse player than Dalot and Shaw. I don’t know what he does well.

We need a much higher quality backup
 
Absolutely hate seeing him come on the pitch now, let alone starting.

Offers nothing in attack and is weak defensively. Couldn't even clear the bastard ball in the last second of added time.

The dereliction of the defence at this club has been a scandal.

A bad assist for Everton's equalizer.

We have a dreadful win % with him on the pitch. He doesn't fit the Premier League. It should be his last season for us.

We should have got rid of him after the WC, his stock was at its highest, and he’s never impressed at United outside a position we don’t play (where he did ok) - but pretty easy (relatively) to play compared to CB and full back.
