From what I gather Hojlund and Garnacho have ceased to exist altogether and nobody can have them, or a replacement sub (hit to the squad), but Sancho and Antony can be subbed out for anyone because being a twat is some form of injury.

Again, I'm sorry for the mess things have become. I know a lot of you are disappointed in me but trust me there's nobody more disappointed in myself than I am, I've let you all down. Part of the reason I haven't updated the tables as frequently as I normally do is because I'm beating myself up inside.

You’ve done nothing wrong @Damien the numbers have been a mess this season and it must be unprecedented with long term absentees! People might complain but they should try getting off their lazy backsides and doing it themselves if they are so capable.

Absolutely the last two competitions beforehand were seamless. It was pure speculation/ gamble on some of the numbers.
In no way @Damien is it any kind of reflection on you whatsoever. You couldn't possibly have preempted or could predict what happened.
You've done absolutely nothing wrong in fact you've gone above and beyond keeping this competition going. It has been unprecedented but again don't beat yourself up, you can't control speculation and a gamble can and invariably does go wrong.
If there's any kind of numbers for the next one if there is one maybe you could be right with a far stricter set of rules especially as regards the numbers.
Anyway don't stress over it. Nothing more you could have done.
Also to add so no one thinks @Damien has let anyone down I haven't been any kind of help on this even though it was my original concept.

Further to add you did ask for players banned suggestions and nothing was set out or for definite.The original list of four was Kane, Ronaldo,Salah and Haaland so don't think in this competition any players with odd numbers are relative which could have given a different reflection on the table. People were more interested in speculation on squad numbers. The alleged accusations against players we simply didn't allow for or have a rule for.
This competition was always in it's infancy and was always open to tweeks suggestions or changes.

This competition will leave a dark stain on the caf for a very long time. They still talk about how @Ian Reus demolished a proud Grand National sweepstake tradition, or how a couple of the FM experiments were abandoned at critical stages.

Who has been complaining? I'm one of those that took a chance on Höjlund getting 17, he didn't and that's it. Seems I'm somehow doing ok despite having one player less and I woulnd't complain if I just had half the points I have atm

I’ve been done this season. Had nunes for wolves, went to city, I had Antony as I thought he’d have a decent year this year but he’s missed a few games.

Agreed. This is still a great contest and I appreciate the effort put in to running it.
Son for Spurs such an obvious pick yet can't fathom why I steered clear! He's been one of the standout picks.
