Why I win Games:
1. Honestly, this is a sheep draft but i have maybe 1 player (Broad) that doesn't come up in all time ODI draft.
2. Brilliant Bowling - Waqar, Pollock, Kapil, Tahir are brilliant while Broad provides good support
3. Aggressive Batsmen, with a strong middle - I have stroke makers and a grafter (Misbah) in case of trouble

Overall, it's just a well rounded team with many match winners (Amla, Faf, De Kock, Pieterson, Kapil with the bat and Waqar, Tahir, Kapil and Pollock with the ball)

Team @12OunceEpilogue
1-Sanath Jayasuriya - 13,000+ @ 32.4 avg, 91.2 S/R
2-Sourav Ganguly (C) - 11,000+ @ 41, 73.7

4-Ross Taylor - 8000+ @ 48.4, 83.4
5-Allan Lamb - 39.3, 75.7
6-Ben Stokes - 37.86, 94.47
8-Shahid Afridi - 23.58, 117.01
9-Ian Healy (Wk) - 21, 83.8, 194 catches, 39 stumpings
10-Craig McDermott - 7.1, 87.8
11-Zaheer Khan - 12, 73.5
11- Lasith Malinga - 7.05, 75.65

Batting

-Superb, experienced openers who will score big runs at a fair lick

-Top-level 3 and 4, and a fine 5, who will build on the platform set by Dada and Jaya

-Accomplished lower-middle. Stokes can add big runs quickly and, as he showed at Trent Bridge the other day, has the maturity to hang in for a big score when his team are in a spot of trouble. Afridi will be going for the rope from the off, while Heals will ably abet whoever he joins at the crease and if required can nurse our tail, two of whom can bat

-Afridi could be deployed higher if the run rate needs a boost. He’s here as a finisher but is of course comfortable higher in the order

Bowling

-Zaheer Khan - 282 wkts @ 29.4 per, 35.8 S/R
-Craig McDermott - 203 @ 24.7, 36.8
-Lasith Malinga - 322 @ 29, 32.63
-Ben Stokes - 63 @ 42, 41
-Sourav Ganguly - 100 @ 38.5, 45.6
-Shahid Afridi - 395 @ 34.51, 44.73
-Sanath Jayasuriya - 323 @ 36.8, 46

Zaheer and McDermott will open the bowling, Malinga is first change and will bowl at the death. Afridi and Jayasuriya will bowl plenty of overs while Stokes and Dada will share the rest

I honestly look at that and think I have a better batting (And better lower order for sure) and simply better bowling. He has 3 front line bowlers, with only one averaging under 25, and he played in a bowler friendly era.

His batting is better for sure. His Top 4 is better than yours , KP gets in at 5 and then Stokes at 6, Dev at 7. Bowling wise Pollock and Waqar are better but his 3 pacers are handy plus Afridi did well as full time spinner for Pak. Still your bowling is definitely better.

Simply disagree with the statement in bold.
Amla > Jayasuriya
De Kock < Ganguly
Azam < Williamson
Faf = Taylor (you shat on taylor recently, but you also have a habit of voting against me so not sure it matters)
Pieterson > Lamb
Misbah > Stokes
Kapil > Afridi

His bowling is simply not up to standard as well

His first 3 batsmens are clearly better than yours, your LMO looks attractive when compared to his, good time you added Pieterson to you line up.IMO Misbah is not the right batsmen to come at 6.Comparatively I like you bowling line up to his.

 I actually choose Taylor over Faf since you were so high on him. Odd now you have changed your tune. Misbah is also not getting into the team over Stokes, I guess both Faf and Taylor get in with KP at 6.
Not arguing it but I would have Jayasuriya my team over Amla as well, others can decide for themselves.

You make Faf equal to Taylor yet declared the latter to be 'the 2nd best ODI player in the world since the last world cup'?

Jaya's numbers aren't the best but I'd take him over most openers; PoS in a victorious WC campaign in '96 and a pioneer of big hitting at the top. I accept modern openers have taken it to a whole new level since but Sanath's the man for me. Same goes Dada, being that good for that long is priceless in all-time drafts.

I don't mind Pietersen over Lamb, Kev was very good most of the time and his '07 WC was superb. It's close between the two though, Lamb made a habit of digging in for key runs (his 67* at the '87 WC being a highlight). Misbah over Stokes I'd give you, though again I think it's a close call. I'm hoping the latter will have a big few weeks, he certainly has the talent for it. Kapil's a legend who I'd have picked in re-enforcement if you hadn't pipped me, a very good lower order batsman. All I can say is Boom Boom is in to play the specific role of finisher/quick scorer in my lower middle, if he and Stokes click together at the crease there'll be hell to pay.

So I prefer my top four, I think it's one of the very best in the draft as a mix of big game experience and scoring ability, and I think my middle can hold its own with yours.

You have the better bowling, let's not pretend otherwise. But I like my unit very much; the addition of Malinga and Afridi has given me a great seamer who can bowl his full quota including crucial death overs and a proper front line spinner who has taken big wickets (joint-best wicket taker at the 2011 WC with a certain Z. Khan). I don't have a pace man as good as Waqar, I don't have a spinner as good as Tahir and Pollock and Kapil are both great, but I think I do have a good unit with good options for an ODI match, such as spin from both ends if necessary wile the inclusion of Ganguly means Stokes needn't be overbowled if he's going for a few.
