Jones spent the whole round fighting with the ball. Thought he was going to break one of his clubs at one point

Think it was said that de Gea really sees him as a mentor.

He was brought in last season as he coached DDG at Atleti

Silvinho Louro was the goalkeeper coach. We brought in Alvarez as De Gea's personal coach as they worked together at Atleti. Once Mourinho and his staff was sacked, we asked Alvarez if he wanted to be the goalkeeper coach and he said yes.

That's a good decision and one that could help make De Gea stick around. We need to build on what we have, we can do it! I really hope Ole and Phelan gets maximum points until the end of the season and then just stay on to go for a journey of multiple league and CL titles!

It must suck so much to have to go home though from the nice weather in Dubai to rainy, cold Manchester. Although I guess it's easier to deal with when you're in a mansion making 100k a week :D

Just found this. Might be the video from the app (that I can't see) above?

I watched the video on the United app. As soon as it finished it teed up the next video - different kits so I assumed it was a different session and up popped Pogba. I was just about to rush in here and announce that he was back in training, when Mourinho appeared - the app had queued last year's Dubai training video to run straight after this year's. It was scary for a minute

To be fair the Mail is running a story with photos of Pogba at the Airport jetting off to Dubai so hopefully he is good to go.

That's a shame. Feel like he would've benefitted from it.

I don't think it's awful, there is nothing more joyful than witnessing your baby's birth.

Shame for the lad, but that's life. The birth of his kid is more important and let's hope it all goes well.

That's why I said "awful timing".

Obviously the birth of a child is fantastic news for him, but missing out on a fitness/team building trip, especially when you're new + struggling in a team ISN'T good.
