Gibraltar, unlike some of the Irish lads, are having trouble finding De Barr.

Horrible negative football . Every time we are on the ball we look backwards

It was bad enough to see Rice take the Sasanach coin, but to see Tony playing up front for Gibraltar is a hammer blow.

James McClean when the full back is begging to be fouled to get him out of a tricky spot

Homebase’s ad about making your garden fantasies a reality; not sure they can help with my garden fantasies.
Oh yeah, 0-0 at HT.

We've created chances. There's a few new faces and it shows with impatient passes and mistakes. Have a feeling we might settle a tad and nick that goal in the 2nd half. Way too early to make any judgments about Micks reign. Coleman and McClean look like they won't be in this team much longer.

Domination here. McCarthy already has us back to the top level where we belong up against a tough Gibratlor side with a couple of talented youth players from former PL champions Blackburn Rovers.

Job done. Very tricky wind and plastic pitch. Some positives - Some half decent movment down the wings that was non existent under O'Neill, Brady back, Stevens and Keogh looked solid enough, Hourihane is lethal from set pieces, Maguire should get better with experience, McGoldrick was decent enough.

3 points.
Ireland usually play down to their opponents level so though it was dire to watch it’s no surprise.
It’ll be interesting to see them play a better team.

Should've just given the job to Kenny now.

I like Mick but don't really see this working. He's a 4-4-2, solid pros and safety first type of manager. I presume looking at the team today ROI played a 3-5-2? Never struck me as the sort who'll bring lots of youth through at once which is what ROI need and obviously why they've appointed Kenny for the long term.

Swiss are massive favourites to win the group and Denmark should get second so don't see ROI making it.

Just seen the stats (possesio. Looks like it was a pretty even game? Did Gibraltar have any good scoring chances?
