OK so who are the united legends?

I find it very strange that a lot of people have Cantona and no Ronaldo.

Is it because Cantona retired? And Ronaldo left us for another club.

Both of these players has contributed big to Uniteds history. They are Legends in terms of quality and success with us.

And Icons in terms of both of them having "kinda special" personalities in there own ways.

If you go by newspapers standard then those played long enough for the club are regarded as "legends" whatever that means. By that Lingard, Jones are legendary legends.

Denis Irwin deserves a lot more respect for his career at United and especially after how that class of 92 film tried to shoehorn Phil Neville as our regular left back at that time

Played over 500 games and won 7 league titles . He was the best full back i can recall playing for the club in my time

Gary Pallister was a great player for us too and yet underrated i feel
