I have such love for the man, I'm so nervous for him. Absolute model professional as a player, respected by everyone at the club. I hope he's a massive success.

A united man that gets the club - let's hope he can steady the ship until the summer. We've got a Champions League to win!

Any news or video discussion for his tactical and style of play? All I know is he likes to attack but I have no idea about his style of play.

Ha, favourite united player as a kid. Happy it’s him, no idea if he will be any good.

It's literally just a caption to a picture right now.

Official announcement incoming though surely

Interim or not, I'm excited.

Time to see the old United back. He isn't pressure-free, but I'm hoping he'll make the team more relaxed as we know the task that's ahead of us for us to make top 4.

Think he's an excellent choice to take us into the summer.

Wasn‘t he sacked by Crystal Palace or some lower table PL club a while ago? Smells like Milan appointing Seedorf, Inzaghi, Gattuso etc and not getting any rewards

I said last season Jose will be gone by xmas. I predicted that he'd be sacked today and now I'm saying Ole will win us the CL this season.

I’d love nothing more than him to be a huge success and stay forever, he’s probably my favourite all time United player.

He took over Cardiff in January 2014 and they were relegated from the PL. He stayed with them for a few games in the Championship before being sacked.

Hopefully he still has his boots, could teach our current strikers a thing or 2.

Delighted to have him back at the club. Really hope it works out for him

Is he taking charge against Cardiff on the weekend? How mind boggling must it be for them? The world has its ironies.

Its unfair to expect wonders from Solskjaer, but its good to see a former United icon manage the club for 6 months. Knows the club and has a status of respect. Surely, the atmosphere will be much better and that is of importance as well.
