As bad as he’s been I’d take him on loan and then we can get used to playing with a target man all of the time, because we need to learn that. He’s a typical striker and he likes to bully defenders. Like Sesko, he’d actually be in the box.

Feels a bit like Martinez last season. He probably didn't refuse to play but Unai thought it was better to detach him from the group and take him out for a game. Our other two CFs injured so it backfired spectacularly.

I'm surprised he wants to go to Saudi personally although guessing his lack of minutes at the World Cup mean he's probably not that bothered about England given Tuchel completely ignored him even as sub option so might aswell make more millions in next 2-3 years like Toney is doing.

Surely if you're on the cusp of a Saudi move for mega money, you don't risk jeopardising that. I can definitely see him not wanting to play.

Yeah we were never gonna pay £45m for him, however surprised Arsenal didn't bite as they could afford it
