Our managers actually are being backed.

Does not matter when you buy an expensive tractor and use it in a streetrace against cars costing half the price.

For the record, the Glazers has "allowed" the club to spend enough of its "own" money since SAF retired, only a shame it has been used on tractors rather than cars.

Klopp needed a CB and a keeper they broke the transfer record for both . Ole needed a CB a RM and a DM and a striker .
We got an attacking midfielder we got a striker who's been unwanted for 3 months and 2 completely unproven kids . That's not backing your manager
Klopp lost his best player in Coutinho (a player he himself improved greatly), and was still able to reach the CL Final. He then used the Coutinho funds to buy the 2 players you mentioned.

It's not the same situation with Ole at all. In fact, Ole lost Pogba (an already established player) and was languishing in midtable, with the loss to injury being a huge excuse for him.

Not really. The squad is not comparable. The rest of the league is not comparable. The tactical decisions in setting up the squad is not comparable. So I have to disagree.
Okay well fair enough. But what is comparable is Klopp finished second by what 2 points? In a summer where you’d except investment to take you to a title He got Harvey Elliot.

So according to you, the first 11 Ole select was not best players we have?
Its like you haven't watch us last season and just watch last 3 match.
Its not like our fooball was always bad, or none of our players improve.
Try to look beyond last 3 games.
Also I am taking about season expectation, would you happy if we play good football but miss top 4 this season?
And yet people were complaining about the shit football under Jose despite him getting us second.

Rashford and Pogba has been bad even before the season ended.

And I've mentioned before in other threads, Ole has basically only had 2 great runs with us but he's shown nothing to turn anything around when he doesn't have everyone healthy. Take the name away and he'll be sacked before we even bought Bruno.

Just to be clear, you mean the summer after Liverpool finished 2nd, right?

After they spent 4 years of rebuilding and making purchases and they already had a spine for the team and the team was basically complete?

Again. Not comparable.

You couldn't be more wrong than this.
Stop comparing Jose to Ole they both have different tactic then each other, you are basically comparing apple to orange.

Rashford and Martial both had best goal scoring season, Greenwood had equal the club scoring record for debut season. Fred and Scott looks very good at run in, Matic also had better season then previous one, Brandon Williams had good debut season, so its not like players don't improve in last season,
Basically you are unhappy because Pobga, JL, Den James was not improved. And Its not like every player can improve in one season.

As for injuries, Every team need injuries free season for their best players it's not rocket science.
The fact that our 2 great run come when every player available and performing in optimal should demonstrate you how much important to have injury free season.
Do you think if CR7 and Rooney was injured in 2008 season we could have won PL and CL?

Just answer this question, do you really think the team is bottom half standard if Pogba and Bruno is out? Because that's what Ole's record is like when they're not available.

Before Bruno sign and when Rashford and Pogba Injured, We were some where (I guess) around 6th to 8th.
So your bottom half is 6th to 8th then yes.
