He did ok
The problem is he shouldn't be starting next season. He needs the security of an experienced player to shadow from, and benefit from time of growing as a player. We urgently need a LWB for next season. They would have known he was extremely raw when signing him. He definitely needs some work, but its early days yet
He looks so dopey. Always lacking in intensity and sharpness.
Yep, always a second late to react, especially in defensive phases.I can excuse inconsistency on technique but his general approach to the game is abysmal. Slow on and off the ball. Passive and so unaware.
He's young and playing in a terrible team but it's deer in the headlights stuff. I don't blame him but he'll keep getting game time because we have no one else.
Hahaha yes I so blame Shaw but Dorgu has also been poor and for all his physical attributes, he still gets bullied far too oftenThe Bournemouth goal was much more on Shaw than him, it was a dreadful pass played late, slow, and straight into a pressing trap Bournemouth had set.
His end product is ropey, couple of lovely cutbacks but wasteful too. The overreaction on here is typical of the Caf scapegoating, but he definitely hasn't been anything to write home about either.
My mental health would have been impacted negatively by seeing more of Dalot on LWB though. We could've saved the 30m and applied it elsewhere this summer without degrading our league position.

Needs to improve massively next season
He has a heavy touch. Not great if you are playing in the PL.He isn't ready for this and probably will never be. Saving my take on him until next season.
Lets not blame anyone but himself for his own performanceYeah that's fair, there's a reasonable chance he'll look better when he's got someone who can actually play the system in front of him.
AWB looks like a much better player both defending and going forwardThe way he defends as part of a team reminds me of AWB where he seems ... Slow or interested.
Agree looks like he hasn't got any basic technique. Crossing seems awful as well.He has a heavy touch. Not great if you are playing in the PL.
AWB is better. I didn't mean to make a direct comparison, more the style of how he goes to close people down or lack of awareness about those around himAWB looks like a much better player both defending and going forward
