I would say Borthwick-Jackson was more pleasing on the eye and was better technically, but ultimately he did nothing. Dorgu should have at least 2-3 more assists but let down to poor finishing, and actually creates chances occasionally. He has showed way more defensive qualities and physically he belongs in the league. Don't get me wrong, Dorgu has not been good at all, but at least he contributes offensively (even if the final ball often is poor). He is given too much responsibility. He is not a wingback (yet), he is a fullback being told to run up and down all game and has far more attacking responsibilities than other fullbacks have. It doesn't prove everything, but did you even watch the clip? If he has moments like that, it means he is capable of it. What he needs to do is do it consistently. That's where younger players often improve with experience. Better coaching too would probably do a world of good. Don't get me wrong, we absolutely need a massive upgrade on him but come on, Borthwick-Jackson did not show more than him.
