He is just a very limited player, who can not do basics right. There was a great opening in the first half where from the edge he shot wide, it was a great position and any sort of curling effort would have resulted in shot on goal or good chance of scoring, whereas he tried laces. If you are playing for a top club as a number 10 and you do not have that understanding which shot is more suitable from which position then i give up.

The less said about his dribbling, crossing the better. Just useless all-round. Lastly I considered him to be quick, but whenever he is in a foot race with any player he always comes second best. Forget the Bales or Walkers of this world. Can someone tell me what are his best attributes? We really did throw 30M down the drain.

...and in the next game, he will show his other face and be brilliant. It is called being a young and unfinished player with the attributes that comes with that. Ups and downs are two of them. He had a decent first half today and faded in the second, where he looked tired.

Very much agree with this. His standout attributes were supposed to be physical - pace and power and stamina. He does have great stamina levels, but he’s not very fast and isn’t great in physical duels. He lost two or three foot races against their fullback today - not impressive at all. Overall, does little.

Arguably you would have been better to come back and reverse it to the other corner as I don’t think the curler in to the left is really on. Either way he screws it up.

Bigger issue for me today with him was just not being able to beat a man. Seemed like he was always getting caught. He did do some good things like his hood up was solid and he seemed to win a few duels and so on but end product with the ball was as always a bit meh.

Should 100% of realised the cut back wasn’t on when Cunha was driving to the line and tried to get across the back post instead of hanging out for the cut back.

Why make that up? He is good in physical duels, and is the 4th most fouled player in the league behind Anderson, Bruno Guimaraes and McGinn, players known for their physicality.

He’s had a couple of decent outings recently but I was really frustrated with him yesterday. Everytime a ball was played down his side he looked like he was running through treacle and just grabbed at the full back to try and give himself a chance of beating him, leading to conceding a free kick. Scored a great goal against Newcastle but now he never wants to pass when he’s near goal when a simple lay off to a better placed player would increase the teams chances of scoring.

I know he’s ‘raw’ and his performances can fluctuate. Hopefully a much better game against Burnley as we desperately need to win this one.

He looks much better playing on the right probably because he doesn't have good crossing ability in him so he becomes less effective when playing on the left and looks much better when cutting inside from the right side. I think his role should be backup for Mbeumo and Amad not LWB.

He often loses physical duels as he did against Leeds. He’s strong, but his balance is often not great.

Dorgu plays football exactly like the kid in school you asked to join in to make up the numbers and turned out to be very fast.

Barely looks like he knows what he's doing with the actual football, but gets around quickly enough to find himself involved in a lot of the action.

Thought he played well, one of his best games at the club. Different threat doing regular wing play on the left and a target in Sesko. Still clumsy sometimes, but cracking cross for Sesko.

He did pretty well, I think he can still end up a useful squad player who will be used in few different roles. He’s raw but he was trying to get the ball into the box quickly and good assist for the second goal.

Really well played. Best of the lot for me. Didn't give up, didn't stop running and challenging his opponents. Raw and his end product has to be refined but well played. Only player that stood out for me.

He is raw but has at least the physical tools plus work rate to do well. United need to decide his place and give him time there. I don't think that at this point he can play a lot of positions. He played well today but there was so many times that he was just standing on the left side and could have tried to run in behind but it clearly isn't natural to him. He would benefit from a good attacking coach who could make things easier for him movement wise.

He was athletic and looked better technically today. I think there’s a player there. Good attitude too.

Very mixed bag. Still does some very confusing things, but also involved in a lot of good actions.

It's funny that Bruno basically told him to do it and then he nearly scored.

I think he played well. Was unlucky not to score with his chip being saved off the line. He will be alright if he plays like this more often.

Think as a few people have said, you probably get the best out of both him and Cunha by playing them on the same side.

Dorgu as an overlapping FB in the Valencia mould, with Cunha cutting inside him.

It just doesn't appear that Shaw has the legs to play that role anymore

I quite like him. He's surprisingly effective in running at the defense, not the smartest choices but he makes things happen. I'd keep him on the left unless Shaw can't play that much as fullback (looks likely).

He should study tapes of Antonio Valencia. Where Dorgu goes wrong is when he tries to do things that he isn’t capable of doing. Valencia knew what he was good at and perfected it. I’d like to see Dorgu do the same and when he’s on the pitch just focus on getting crosses in to sesko.

Fair play to him, I was really critical earlier in the year but I've seen enough in various positions to make me think he's definitely got a future here. Whether it's as a versatile squad player or a long term starter who knows, but he can definitely be very useful as a RW, LW or a LB I think. No idea what his long term best role will be. Took a bit today to get going but he eventually got into that normal LW rhythm and that was great to see.

He’s less frantic than he was earlier in his United career but still needs to make better decisions on the ball. Great energy though and can certainly get up and down the pitch. Looking a very decent buy for the money though.

Looked really good all of a sudden when played as RW or LW, he's definitely able to use his physicality to impose himself on the wings. I know Walker is no where near his peak but Dorgu had him on toast most of the night.

Looks like he's been working on his crossing this season. That's a few great crosses he's put in. Hopefully there's more to come from him.

The kid's a winger, and has the potential to develop into a very good one. We're already seeing improvement this season and he's still young.

Dorgu can become an excellent winger with the bonus that he will be better than most other wingers at helping his full-back.

I'm trying to think who he reminds me of in terms of playing style... he's quite unorthodox.

I doubt it. He does not have the attacking skills or instincts. But yesterday, he worked hard and at least tried to get things forward, unlike many others
