Not only our team didn't have any wingbacks for a shit coach, but the one we actually bought is much better as a winger. Delighted for him

Had a really tough start to the game but he worked so hard and really got into the game. Goal was fantastic and fingers crossed he won’t be out for too long.

Shame on those who wrote him off so early. Anyone can look bad under the wrong circumstances. Been on fire recently.

He was one of United's sloppier players until the goal, but that's a goal of the season contender. Grew in confidence after that. Hopefully subbed only as a precaution.

Typical United luck.

It's all finally clicked and his hammer goes.

Hope it's not a bad one.

Slow start but was excellent today. That goal was sensational

He's really started to play with confidence, superb strike for the goal, they always look better when they hit the underside of the bar and go in.

That was Tony Yeboah-esque. What a fkn goal. I screamed so hard and loud that the dog shat herself.

Then it happened again 40 mins later.

Worried about the injury, hope he's not out too long - left winger extraordinaire!!

The massive cheat mode with Dorgu and Amad is their experience as WBs makes them extremely hardworking in terms of helping their full back

Really pleased for him. Felt like he got a lot of criticism early in the season, some justified but too much.

And he wasn't even bad. Some moron was saying he could've had 5 assists in the first 6 games or something. A pace that would've blown the PL assist record away, let alone the one for a Fullback.

His performances were generally fine even at the start of the season.

Hes just not a left back is he, hes a winger with a goal threat and workrate.
Not sure if he will be fit next week but I think he may be better suited to playing at LB, particularly when we have more possession. I can see him being a real threat as an attacking LB, with a LW (e.g. Cunha or Mount) that ticks in a bit more.

He was at times even playing as a midfielder today, a bit like Matuidi used to do for France.

He might turn out to be a very versatile player.
I think he'd be completely wasted there and the header for their goal showed he's not really suited to be that last line of defence. Works hard for a winger though

So many wrote him off as a very young player in a new league playing under a shite manager, but you can’t write an athlete like that off.

He is a danger to any side with that pace and power and it’s very exciting to think about what he could become as an attacker.

Whisper it, but we could be seeing a Maicon moment.

As we've seen the threat from left back/ left wingback and as a winger are not the same. He's scoring goals and creating goals. He starts on the wing where he gets the most chances to continue to do what hes doing

I didn't see this level of potential but since moving further forward he looks quality.

Hindsight is 20/20 but the amount of posters calling him a donkey, a clown, technically useless, thick...should be a moment of reflection.
Dorgu, Heaven and Amad are examples of exceptional scouting and talent development.

Desperate for that hammie to be ok, he’s really got some momentum behind him and has been critical to these two performances
