Tevez played as SS, Dybala too when Pogba played with him.
Vidal played sometimes in the #10 position in the diamond midfield to press the backline.
It's true that in his 3 first seasons he played as LCM.
But he
never played with a creative #10 and his
best season wasn't as #8 but very high on the pitch behind 2 strikers ( mainly Dybala and Mandzukic/Morata ) or as LM in a 442 like against Bayern in the first leg...and with the injury of Dybala, he started the second leg in the SS position
But he mainly played in a unique role, a mix of AM/LM in a very unique 352.
In this role his scored
10 goals and made
15 assists in less than
50 games at 22-23 years old. They gave him the #10 for a reason.
And the world praised the young duo ( Dybala/Pogba ) for a reason too
But yeah Pogba was at his best as #8 behind creative #10 that doesn't even exist
