I wouldn't start him either to be honest. Just too risky away to Spurs, nobody knows if it will work with Bruno without any time to adjust and he hasn't played for a long time now.So he probably won't start?

Not even just the league, who is really better in Europe?Who are the top 3 'CMs' in the league
Yeah it's always funny seeing people cream themselves for players who have half Pogba's abilities from other teams yet when they come in here they proceed to dismiss him as a player. He is a Manchester United player, anybody in opposition to him staying & succeeding really baffles me.
Look at the Transfer Forum & Manchester United fans are fawning over all and sundry yet pop into any Pogba thread & we do a god awful job of supporting our own.
His agent is an idiot & he hasn’t always performed but the fact Herrera, en route to a huge personal payday at PSG, has fans on this forums falling over themselves to talk up someone who actually did ‘feck off’ yet this man can’t catch a break from some when Mourinho torpedoed him/the club lets me know most views really aren’t about the man as a footballer anyway.
Vive la Pogba FC & [Rashford aside] he’s the player I’m hoping the best for in the club.
He bloody better. So he probably won't start?
He’s been painted as ‘flirting’ with other teams so [in my opinion] a number of fans have a pissing contest over their club loyalty & entrench themselves to an anti-Pogba stance they won’t move from. Similar to the same tired argument some fans use when discussing Rooney, ‘he asked to leave so feck him’Yeah it's always funny seeing people cream themselves for players who have half Pogba's abilities from other teams yet when they come in here they proceed to dismiss him as a player.
All to do with hive mentality if you ask me.
This is a point I was typing (then deleted) in the United thread. This topic has become so emotive that I think hard stances have been taken on either end and it has almost become about which side wins. Almost forgotten amongst it all is that the player in question is one of our players. An academy one at that.He is a Manchester United player, anybody in opposition to him staying & succeeding really baffles me.

Exactly. A concept unfortunately lost on some on these boards. Too busy trying to meet their Pogba hate quota rather than getting behind the lads.He bloody better.

When we sign a player who ‘dreamed of playing for United’, or ‘would love to play for United’ do we question their loyalties to their previous employers or are we simply happy to get them - it’s bloody hypocrisy.
While a player is at the club we should be doing our upmost to support them surely.
And yet he has had issues in this club from the beginning. When do we stop blaming everyone and everything for Paul Pogba? This club is under no obligation to bend to any player and the ones that have had disagreements are legends of the club so are given a bit of slack. In no way shape or form is Pogba near those players in stature at the club. This is a point I was typing (then deleted) in the United thread. Whatever people think of him, he still wears our shirt, and I can’t help but get the impression that there is almost a latent hope of failure at times in order to validate or confirm opinion. But he’s one of ours, from the academy at that - and I don’t think he’s ever got any ‘he’s a United player’ privilege, at least on here. I’m always arguing with others who are more keen to discredit his qualities than praise them, or downplay him in comparison to other teams players in a way that isn’t common on here. Usually, if there’s any sort of debate between on of ours and another team’s - the board has an overwhelming home advant I’ve seen people arguing roundabout ways to say RvN was better than Henry (at the time) on here, for example. That kind of ‘defending one of our players’ I don’t think has ever really been afforded to Pogba, it would usually be more a passionate argument of the case of Henry instead (in equivalent terms).
You can’t help think that (probably human nature to be fair) that there will be people watching today with their ‘Pog-ball giveaway-O-meters’ in their hand, and in their focus, they totally miss other players they presumably like more giving the ball away, letting a player past them etc.
He’s 27 and has spend the majority of his professional career at the club, but a lot of people have convinced themselves that he has no affinity at all. In fact, since his return, people seem to think he has some sort of greater connection to Real Madrid than Manchester United. He’s never really got that ‘United player’ love, he’s been a Madrid player on loan since the rumours of his return started and they all dismissed the possibility and couldn’t see why he’d want to come here and not go to Real Madrid.
ummm.. De Gea???In Pogba, AWB, Maguire, Bruno, Rashford......Martial, Shaw we have some top players finally.
Shaw will need competition, especially since he is always injured after finding form.Get a CB to replace Lindelof. Get Sancho. And we're good to compete. Still question marks around Martial but he has the potential
Williams arrival seemed to have pushed him to find formShaw will need competition, especially since he is always injured after finding form.
Yeah, I forgot about Williams.Williams arrival seemed to have pushed him to find form
He sure seems like a player that need competition. It's great that he has responded so well.Williams arrival seemed to have pushed him to find form
I love DeGea, for me the second greatest united keeper ever....BUT his form over the past two seasons is alarming. He’s thrown multiple goals in that I’d expect a Sunday league keeper to stop. So I can’t currently add him, but I’d hope he recovers.ummm.. De Gea???
Also, I'd start considering adding Fred there esp if you are going to include Shaw
Didn’t Ole say he’s only good for 45 mins?He bloody better.
Yep, and he gave away a penalty too. That was embarrassing from him.
If you're afraid of the ball hitting you don't stand in the wall.Yep, and he gave away a penalty too.
you've just worked that out?I’m usually one of his biggest defenders but that was cowardly and could cost us big time!
Heh my point was his first half performance was embarrassing before that moment. If you're afraid of the ball hitting you don't stand in the wall.
For him to stand there in the penalty area and stick both arms up, just fecking embarrassing.
Really cowardly
Well yeah but they were all shite.Heh my point was his first half performance was embarrassing before that moment.
Protecting the face is not deliberate handball by the rules. Obviously in slow motion VAR makes it look like he had all the time in the world to decide to do it.Reactionary no? We all would have done the same but we’re not professional footballers
