This. Well said... He has my respect for being honest and saying what many of us in here unlike Neville who deliberately likes to appear 'different' and irationally supported Moyes and Mourinho despite evidence that they were up to no good for our club.
But did they also started making trouble in the neighborhood?

Under a tree.
Zidane has said similar things about Gerrard. You can list quotes about Gerrard right next to the ones of Scholes. Pretty sure Zizou claimed Gerrard was the best player in the world at one point.
He did say that, and Gerrard was one of the best players in the world, at one point, no one can deny that
But Zidane stated Scholes was the toughest player hes ever played against and the greatest player of his generation

Exactly. All I ever hear is that so and so once said Paul Scholes was a great player and Man United fans cling to that as proof that Scholes was the greatest player. I'm a 30 year United fan but cant ignore logical facts which are....

Paul Scholes was never in his career shortlisted for PFA player of the season..this means that not once during his career did his fellow professionals rate him as 1 of the top 6 players in the league. In Gerrards career he was shortlisted 8 (eight) times for PFA player of the year, that means Gerrarď was rated 1 of the top 6 players in the league 8 times by his fellow Pros. Scholes was a very good player..He was never as good as Viera, Keane, Gerrard, Lampard, De Bruyne and it is embarrassing to keep hearing fans pretend he was by quoting something a player once said 20 years ago.

So use a situation where he is not rated by his fellow professionals and then shoot down instances where he verbally was. Much agenda to your post....?

Where is Paul Scholes these days? When Mou was around, we would hear him complain about the state of football every couple of days. Now that his mate's the manager, Scholes has nothing to say about the quality of football?

I don't know why people keep repeating this. Scholes backed Jose when he was appointed and only started to complain when things were not improving. Same with Neville, he even criticized club and players when Jose was sacked and also when there was rumour that Jose might be sacked.

Things are not improving right now either though? In fact, going back to last season, United really are experiencing relegation form. If it was any other manager, surely the knives would have been out?

Again Jose's first season we didn't move above or below 6th, still Scholes backed him, because it was first season.

Moyes was shit still Neville said he shouldnt be sacked and we should give him few more seasons.

Oh, are you saying Scholes will not criticize Ole because this is his first full season?

Is Scholes currently working on TV? That would be a big factor in not hearing from him.
You are right, he isn't; will be interesting to see what he says if and when he is back.

Yes, all our ex players always believe manager should be given time. That's why he was still backing Jose when we won 3 league games in 4 months or something close to that.

IIRC Neville said few things on Van Gaal when he was appointed and then had one to one interview with him where he explained few things in detail, Neville was completely sold on Van Gaal at least for few months.

People just look for conspiracy theories when they have said every manager should be given time.

You'd think that a player with some of the best vision in the history of the game, who could close his eyes and tell you where every player is on the field, would make a good manager.

Though I wonder if players now just aren't as tactically astute as past generations. So much emphasis on pace, quality is bound to suffer.

Hmm right. Still, as a generalization, that is not very good punditry.

United legend triggering people without even doing anything.
People are bored criticizing every player and manager. They are also bored of Neville and Giggs. So Scholes for now and then everyone including Sir Bobby Charlton and Sir Matt Busby.
