Couldn`t agree more. Sancho is the one this team desperately needs on the right side and i feel would improve us the most.If we are going to spend 100m, I'd rather we do it on Felix or Sancho. If these options don't work out, then maybe we can go for Dybala.
Hence the need for Ole to know what he is getting and whether Dybala will cause any problems off-the-field with demands and such. His best scoring was last season with 26 goals I think, and that has been curtailed this season with Ronaldo's arrival at Juve. My main hope is that this season's failure can spur him to show the world he can be back to his best, especially if preparation for 2022 where he should be seeing himself as one of the main men in the Argentinian attack, what with Messi and Aguero being close to 35 by then. As much as I like Sancho or Felix, I don't think Sancho wants to leave at the moment, while Felix will most likely end up at some other club who is courting him. Seems that Dybala is not as popular now due to his poor season, and that might be good news for us. If Lukaku leaves, and maybe Mata as well, then we will need another left-footed attacker I feel. Dybala is also of a good age and has experience in big games and title chases. An option of Dybala, Rashford, Martial (if he bucks up) and Greenwood seems to me to be a good 4 strikers to rotate among a first choice strike partnership, similar to how we had Cole, Yorke, Teddy and Ole.My concern, from a position of knowing absolutely feck all of what’s going on, is that if he moved to United (struggling Europa League darlings) he’d want to be the main man, and it would cause further dressing room problems.
Also we need 25 goal a season strikers. Has Dybala been that type?
Oh no, you're right!!! And the middle... the middle!!!I mean, we can’t attack either. We’re equally concerning at both ends of the pitch.
If dybala comes on at the quoted 86m, I am sure we will get rid of lukaku for about 50-60m! so essentially we will ''only'' spend 26/36m on him. His transfers wont hinder others. The problem with the Dybala transfer would only be if signing him meant we still start games with dead wood next season because of the money we end up spending on him. Dybala is a really good player and is still developing his game. If we can get Dybala and on top of that improve our main areas of weakness like CB, RB, CM, ST and RW then there should be no reason why we shouldn't go for it.
That's surely just rolling the dice again in the blind hope something works.Lukaku, Sanchez out... Dybala, James in
Diamond isnt the way forward. Theres a reason why no top team uses it and the last top team to have any success with it was Milan in the mid 2000's.So you don't see him fitting in as part of a front 2 or behind the front 2 in a 41212 diamond that Ole has used so often this season? That means Dybala instead of Lingard/Mata, or Dybala instead of Lukaku?
Real just won the CL three times in a row using it a lot of the time.Diamond isnt the way forward. Theres a reason why no top team uses it and the last top team to have any success with it was Milan in the mid 2000's.
Indeed. And Monaco played 4-4-2 going to a CL final with Mbappe and Falco up front. Same as Atleti. Juve played 3-4-3 with an inverted triangle up top with Mandzukic, Higuain and Dybala as #10/SSReal just won the CL three times in a row using it a lot of the time.

^Pretty sure that was their setup ahead of a midfield three in a lot of games, at least last season.
Agreed. It seems that Sancho and Felix are the hype this transfer window. That's surely just rolling the dice again in the blind hope something works.
Could have said this two seasons ago, Rooney, Zlatan out.. Lukaku, Sanchez in, & everyone would have been hyped about it.
This.Indeed. And Monaco played 4-4-2 going to a CL final with Mbappe and Falco up front. Same as Atleti. Juve played 3-4-3 with an inverted triangle up top with Mandzukic, Higuain and Dybala as #10/SS
The amount of people obsessed with 4-3-3 and 2 wide men up top is disproportionate to the success of the system, which really hasn't been superior when compared with the other established systems like 3-5-2, 4-4-2 and 4-4-2 diamond.
It really is a matter of which system fits your squad strengths better and to be honest 4-3-3 is just the worse system for United. We have no RW, our technically best LW is a lazy feck who doesn't put in the work required to make the system work (compare Martial work rate with Mane or Sterling) and we have no single striker up top who can bang 20+ goals in a season to cover up the deficiencies of the wingers.
He would cost 85m pounds, 100m Euros, which is a fair price nowadays.I would sing Dybala but not for 100m. Of we are going to play that kind of money it should be for Sancho.
If we sell Lukaku, who do you prefer between Dybala, Richarlison and Icardi?
Formations are pretty much useless nowadays. The way the team behaves as a cohesive unit, adjust to the opponent's small details and player instructions is all that matters. Exactly. The difference between 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1 is so minor. People always describe Utd as playing 4-4-2 throughout Fergies time but it ignores the way Rooney or Teddy or Cantona would drop off the front into a no10 role.Formations are pretty much useless nowadays. The way the team behaves as a cohesive unit, adjust to the opponent's small details and player instructions is all that matters. A formation is just a kick-off template.
Game time in his desired position? Being an Adidas athlete, a huge boost to his image?Getting rid of Sanchez and Lukaku and signing Dybala would be a dream, but aside from money why would he want to join this United team
But as has been stated, PD is an attacking mid. We could do with more goals from that area but to really challenging( or in our case building a team to challenge) You need out and out goal scorers;Jovic,Piatek,Auba...that kind of player. One reason we get him in could also be to help Pogba to stay - they played well together in Juventus, no?
Especially if Sanchez and Lukaku leave, we would need more attackers, especially lethal ones.
Yeah with that large of a sample size, I don't know why you'd give a South American forward a shot in NW England.Usually south american players don't do well at United. See Di Maria Veron and Sanchez.
Dybala would be a gamble. He still looks more like a prospect than the finished article.
Isn't there a South American scoring for fun just across town too? Can't remember his name..Yeah with that large of a sample size, I don't know why you'd give a South American forward a shot in NW England.
What a bloody improvement that would be.One reason we get him in could also be to help Pogba to stay - they played well together in Juventus, no?

what comments are those?Given comments he has made in the past about the league and United I get the feeling he wouldn't really want to be here. Strikes me as a luxury player anyway.
It was a couple of years ago now but he basically said he isn't that interested in playing in England and that La Liga was his dream. Also on United he made a comment/joke about us being 6th during the season Pogba joined us.what comments are those?
