In case you forgot then Barcelona was down to 10 men before 1st half was over in the first leg, so it's quite a significant impact on the result. Even so, they were the far better team.

I wonder if it’s entirely amicable. Ultimately they have spent big money on trying to rebuild and it’s not really worked, certainly not to the level they’d have thought after winning the treble*. I think we assume Pep is bigger than City - which I think he is in terms of his name - but his old allies have mostly left and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s demanded big money signings again and for the first time they’ve pushed back.
