Pep Guardiola | Leaving City: Official

Their support is laughable. It's not even a meme at this point, they barely have a fanbase.

The guy clearly shot the video way before the parade started as he's a city fan. Posted at 2pm, parade starting at 5pm.
Same place during the actual parade, filmed by the same guy. Context eh... who needs it.

The post came across my timeline and I posted it - bit odd to expect me to scour the internet for context just to appease City fans.

You don't have to appease anyone but trying to use it as some kind of "City have no fans" is kinda silly. It's clear we don't have a huge fanbase even with everyone there but it's also clear after 5 seconds of a video like that it's not the parade.

This after party thing they're doing is all a bit tired. All stood there singing Wonderwall

I posted the two tweets about your parade that came into my timeline. The first has considerably more people than the second. I added no words of “City have no fans” or the like. I just embedded the tweets.

You got defensive likely because of what other posters said and the optics (maybe), but that’s not really on me. Like I said, I’m not going to be clicking on journos pages and scroll down them to find tweets where more people are visible so you don’t feel some type of way. So again, i don’t get that context barb

Every time I think of the city support since they were taken over I always think the wrong club was chosen to turn into a superclub. They were never massive before the takeover and the fanbase gained a rep because they stuck with them in the hard times.

I'm not bitter, honest!!

Seriously, though I wouldn't want to be owned by them. Would rather win nothing.

They should've cancelled the parade once they missed out on the Premier League title and just had the arena show to give Pep his send off

Even Shearer on MOTD last night said something about maybe having to have a asterisk against Pep's trophies at City at some point.

The media suddenly feel a bit more willing to have a conversation about it at last.

I still have doubts they will get book thrown at them and therefore his legacy stays firmly in tact

What's the context here? This feels pretty weird

They cut off the rest.

He had a WWE style entrance and in true heel fashion, he lamped the trophy around Pep's head, then with Haaland put Pep through a table with a double choke slam.

He finished up by challenging Slot, Arteta, Flick, Pep & Enrique to a winner takes all 6 man hell in a cell at Summer Slam. With special guest referee Michael Oliver.

I'd absolutely watch that

Sheikh Mansour then entered the stage to bring some order, but in his brisk walk, tore both of his quads and had to sit on the floor with a mic in his hand. If you know, you know.

Klopp and the Liverpool team didn't even show up for their best friends in football. Very poor from them.

Everything about that club is inauthentic. Grealish has had a quiet few months on the treatment table at Everton and they've brought him on stage to lift a replica of the Super Cup. Imagine United inviting Rashford to lift a replica of the FA Cup he won in 2024
