Pep Guardiola Threatens to quit Man City

reminded me of avon barksdale's "and I want my corners" speech that

the end is nigh

Such a melodramatic little crybaby.

Has one season without everything going perfectly in his favour, which ends with no trophies for the first time in nearly a decade, and he's going off like this.

Shame on anyone who ever called him better than Fergie.
Absolutely. Saying he’s better than Fergie is like saying that snakes can fly.

Ah, the dude who needs new players all the time and works for a club that can’t offer anything other than money, is angry, that the very same club struggles to sell all the players he wants, who are on so much money, nobody can afford them.

He's a bit dramatic, this guy. Fecking hell.

I can just imagine how that conversation would go in his meeting with the owners/board room.

"Take your large and very expensive squad and feeeeck off." Complete with a dramatic swivel and head turn.

I wonder if the board are just as sassy as he is?

Things have gone stale over there. They’ve fallen some and he’ll only manage a club where they have little or no competition. He needs a new club where they have that guarantee. His next job will be at Shooting Fish in a Barrel FC.

Pep wants City to spend and pretend he's got nothing to do with it, he's such a disingenuous fraud.

Only the World's most spoilt and privileged manager would complain about have two or three extras players.

They would have missed Champions League football without the intervention from the execs. in January to spend another £250m because he'd suffered one injury.

I want to play Championship Manager 01/02 but this time only with Tsigalko and To Madeira, please. So so tired of putting Mark Kerr on the bench.

It really gets swept under the carpet how much City have spent in January. £50m on Nico Gonzalez, £30m on Reis, £59m on Marmoush, 33m on Khusanov and £12m on Echeveria.

Please, for the love of god, I hope he fecks right off.
Nah. He’s a busted flush. Hopefully he overstays his welcome and causes massive rifts and fallouts, before leaving a steaming pile of shite in the doldrums.

He might leave because he can't handle the possibility of his legacy being tainted by the possibility of consecutive failed seasons. He seems the type.

I was only really aware of Marmoush

Yes but Pep needed everyone of these players.
But now his squad is too big. Which is in no way Pep‘s fault.

For them, a pauper’s window. How was Pep meant to win anything there? No support, he’s worked miracles!

He's barely top 5 (5th for me) and the only reason he's top 5 is the work he did at Barcelona. Building the greatest club team of all time with mostly academy players. Everything after that could have been achieved by at least 10 other managers.

Pretty standard stuff, he likes a smaller squad than what they have right now, not sure what the issue is here.

Three managers have won the Premier League more than once. SAF (13 times) and Mourinho and Wenger (both 3 times). Yet "at least 10 other managers" would apparently be able to win 6 PL titles?

Yeah okay.

He makes it sound as if someone else expanded the squad beyond reason, not his transfers. No big deal statement either way, mind
Isn't it the club that handles the transfers rather than the manager though?

He'd have hated it in Chelsea, that's for sure.

Backed by a City state, there's at least 10 managers in history who could have won 6 PL titles. Its probably even more than that.

I mean, if they got however long time they needed. If they get 8 years? No way.
