Pep's spending is insane (£941m and counting at City)

QSG will call him much sooner than that. 2023. Pfft.
That's the logical next step. The interesting thing here is how much the Qatari government wants to spend in their Parisian adventure after their World Cup in 2022. Are they still going to burn through money? Guardiola will never manage anywhere were there's no massive transfer kitty.

Good point. A totally disastrous world cup would be ideal for football in the long run. Bad PR for the dictatorship leading them to look for other play things instead of PSG. Hopefully quickly followed by Abu Dhabi who get tainted with the negative PR.

Fair play to Levy to reject 150m though. His calculator is a potent one. He probably have calculated everything and 150m isnt enough.

Levy is a prick though. City left with their pants down twice. I think they were planning for season with Kane AND Ronaldo. They’ve got neither and a bank holiday weekend to get something else over the line

Apparently Lewondowski is linked with them? According to Lescott anyway

I don't think Abu Dhabi allows City to spend as much as they did years ago. Even for Kane they basically wanted 20-25% of transfer fee to be in add-ons and wanted one of their players included in that deal as well. Even if Levy agreed £100+27m they still had to sell 1-2 players before. In last 3-4 years City had £60-70m per summer plus whatever they generated from sales and that's probably not gonna change in near future.

Sound like Pep rattled hard by Levy.
The 'big master of negotiation, Mr Daniel Levy, who knows everything'.

God he is such a prick . I don't think there's been another figure as consistently disrespectful towards the club as him, which is so strange considering the disparity between the two.

He does seem to constantly be having digs at Spurs.

He's not a man used to losing or not getting what he wants and the fact he keeps losing at your stadium and he's not got Kane must be infuriating him.

Yep. Little temper tantrums for him. Find it very funny how many times he's lost here against 'the Harry Kane team' without Kane even playing since making that comment.

A shame they're so poor and he couldn't afford him......
