Pestering Players After Training

My kids keep asking to go to Carrington and wait to see the players come out of training and get pictures with them.

Anyone here done it recently and know what time training finishes, best place to go, etc?

I'm gonna bump this, as I've committed a heinous act and secured myself (and just myself) a ticket for the Liverpool game, and not my kids. They are apoplectic with rage, and as a means of placating them, I said I'd take them down to Carrington to hang about and hopefully see some of the players as they drive past in their £250k blacked out windowed cars.

Has anyone done this recently with their young uns? Ideally looking for best time to rock up so I'm not hanging about for fecking ages.

I haven’t done it recently but I know people do, do it.

I believe that there are two entrances to the training ground though so I’m not sure which entrance is best to achieve your goal

If you are really lucky you might be able to make out the shape of some player's heads as they drive past in their tinted widows and work out who they were. You'll also know which one Rashford is because he will probably crash his 24 carat gold Lambo into your boot

Hi @Big Andy. When we went (on a Monday, I’ve no idea if it makes a difference) we got down there for about 2:45pm and we’d missed some players by about half an hour apparently but Bruno, Martinez (both stopped) came out around 3:10.

You park at the ‘barrier’ and walk down a trail to the entrance to the training complex, around a 5-10 minute steady walk I’d say.

Is that on the Carrington side or the ‘other’ side?

I had heard a rumour that there was a second entrance used by the players nearer to the Broadheath side, which happens to be the opposite side to the main entrance

This barrier?

I didn’t know of a secret entrance, but players do turn left or right out of the car training centre, but if you walk down they’ve nowhere else to go other than past you

I think that must be ‘secret’ entrance then

From my knowledge it, the main entrance it literally a straight road down to some traffic lights

EDIT - looking at a map of it now, it looks like they’ve changed the layout of the road and the way in so turning left or right makes sense. Left would the ‘secret’ way and right would be what I though was the more conventional way
