I was looking for some PL stats of our players. I’m not usually one to judge a lot based on stats, but sometimes they provide an interesting extra account on who’s good for the team and who isn’t.

For valid comparison, I only included current players who haven’t played for other PL clubs. Also for the same reason, excluded players who had PL starts under Fergie, because that was a different United tbh. I’m also deliberately focusing on team related stats because those are rarely brought up.

So, it’s probably often
a bit misleading with different amount of games and sub appearances vs full appearances etc. Also adding Maguire and AWB just including their matches with United wouldn’t probably be huge extra work.

I would’ve liked it too be a more compelling, getting the clean sheets and goals conceded stats for midfielders and strikers also and things like that. All of these stats are kind of team-related, so digging into personal stats like tackling, shooting, and aerials would provide a very different piece of information.

Thoughts?

Nice idea but a little misleading as certain players are selected for games against weaker teams and would be expected to have a higher win %

I know, it’s really flawed because of those differences. Also I think these stats unflatter Greenwood the most because of all the thankless sub appearances during our awful run of form in 2019.
