Bold players are ones I'd sell, or consider selling for good offer. Also loanees I dont expect to see again

DDG - 4 - Time to replace him
Victor Lindelöf - 7 Did enough to show he can be a very reliable replacement with a good partner
Harry Maguire - 5 Time at United is up.
Lisandro Martínez - 8.5 Brilliant signing, looking forward to seeing more.
Tyrell Malacia - 5.5 decent first season and definitely gave shaw the competition he needed, but had moments when he was exposed
Raphaël Varane - 7 would have been higher without injuries
Diogo Dalot - 6 A solid performer, one of our best players before christmas
Luke Shaw - 8.5 One of the players of the season for us. Has matured brilliantly
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7 an inverse dalot in that post xmas, he was very consistent albeit still might be sold
Bruno Fernandes - 6.5 another decent return and we look like a worse team without him
Christian Eriksen - 6 started brilliantly and absolutely want to keep, but more as a squad player who would still play plenty
Marcel Sabitzer - 5 didnt do enough to secure a deal
Fred - 6.5 when he's good he's excellent, when he's poor he's very poor
Casemiro - 8.5 faded a little but still an integral part of any success we had. POTS for me.
Scott McTominay - 5 suspect his limitations are ones that ten hag can't overlook
Anthony Martial - 5 same old same old. time to sell.
Marcus Rashford - 8 excellent season would have been higher but finished season poorly.
Antony - 6.5 a victim of what people expected him to be. I want more but am encouraged enough that we will see it.
Jadon Sancho - 4 really poor overall. Id take a good offer.
Wout Weghorst - 4 a trier, but the fact we were bringing him on today shows how well ten hag did
Anthony Elanga - 3 cant remember him doing anything of note
Van de beek - 3 as above

Alejandro Garnacho - 7 bright spark and looks like the future

Erik ten Hag
DDG - 6 - Far from his past form, expected more from him as he's not that old. Why did he regress so much, honestly I have no explanation.
Victor Lindelöf - 6 - Decent when needed, I would keep him as a back-up
Harry Maguire - 5 - Maybe a subjective opinion because he did not make as many mistakes as last season, but his general play is awful, not suited to us or to any big team
Lisandro Martínez - 8 - Our best defender
Tyrell Malacia - 5 - shaky but he's still young, maybe he can improve
Raphaël Varane - 7 - Good
Diogo Dalot - 5 - Started the season well but after the World Cup his performances took a nose dive
Luke Shaw - 7 - Good
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7 - Started as a back-up but found form at the end
Bruno Fernandes - 7 - Expected more from him especially in important games but he's still got it. Hope next season he can do better.
Christian Eriksen - 6 - Vital player at the start of the season but after the injury was never the same.
Marcel Sabitzer - 5 - Nothing special
Fred - 6 - A mix bag, some good games some terrible ones
Casemiro - 8 - Very good overall, great transfer a remarkable player. Pity we haven't bought him sooner.
Scott McTominay - 5 - Nothing special, same old Mct
Anthony Martial - 5 - He doesn't seem to go anywhere with us, if not injured physically he's injured mentally.
Marcus Rashford - 9 - Our best player, without him, I think we would finish outside Europe, nevermind Top 4
Antony - 5 - Expensive for what he offers, one trick pony. Not a good transfer
Jadon Sancho - 5 - Missed a good portion of the season, then didn't to anything special, some glimpses of creativity here and there, but too far between. We need better.
Wout Weghorst - 2 - Terrible player, anti-talent at his finest.
Anthony Elanga - Played few games to make an impression
Alejandro Garnacho - 7 - Our most promising young player.

Ten Hag - 8 - Won a trophy, finished 3rd, reached the FA Cup final, knocked out Barcelona in the EL, I'd say he did better than most of us expected at the start.

Best player overall: Rashford - top scorer and our most creative player. Also has been shifted from left to right to center to fill gaps or to accommodate other players, who ultimately disappointed.
Worst player overall: Weghorst
Biggest surprise: Martinez - never expected to settle in so quickly, to have the fighting attitude that he has, the passing skills, basically the leader of our defense.
Biggest disappointment: Sancho - thought a good manager like ETH can make something out of him, but he seems lost.

DDG - 2 - dreadful (Golden Gloves notwithstanding)
Victor Lindelöf - 7 - good back up
Harry Maguire - 4 - time to move on
Lisandro Martínez - 9 - best defensive signing since Vidic
Tyrell Malacia - 4 - probably not good enough
Raphaël Varane - 8 - quality
Diogo Dalot - 6.5 - good attitude but perhaps not quite good enough
Luke Shaw - 9 - one of our few world class players
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7.5 - big improvement, fantastic attitude
Bruno Fernandes - 8.5 - productive season
Christian Eriksen - 6 - good start but faded into Mata territory
Marcel Sabitzer - 5 - ok
Fred - 6 - not great but good attitude
Casemiro - 8.5 - reassuring presence
Facundo Pellistri - 5
Scott McTominay - 5 - ok but time to move on
Anthony Martial - 3 - how he has lasted so long here is beyond me
Marcus Rashford - 8 - would have been 10 up to February but not great since
Antony - 5 - works hard but needs a big improvement next year
Jadon Sancho -2 - one of our worst signings ever
Wout Weghorst - 1 - the joke ceased to be funny around March
Alejandro Garnacho - 8 - great prospect, seems to have the right stuff

Ten Hag - 8.5 - dealt with the Ronaldo circus and background takeover noise to steer us to our best season since Fergie

DDG - 5 - Ridiculous season. Makes outstanding saves 1 week, then a few weeks later he blunders one. Fair play for winning the golden glove but feels like his time is winding down.
Victor Lindelöf - 7 - really solid and reliable when called upon, whether he worked with Varane or Martinez. Scored the winning penalty against Brighton which was great. Might have like him to get on the score sheet somewhere though.
Harry Maguire - 4 - Did his job when called upon in the last 5-10min of games to see them out. Otherwise has been a liability when starting games. The manager has clearly made up his mind on him and wants him out.
Lisandro Martínez - 9 - World Class. One of the best signings we've made in recent memory. Plays with passion, determination and a bit of class. Absolute fan favourite.
Tyrell Malacia - 6- solid if not spectacular first season. Played some good matches but was a bit under par in others.
Raphaël Varane - 8 - Great season from Varane. He has been really classy at the back for us. The only issue is that he has been injured a few too many times.
Diogo Dalot - 6 - Very good first half of the season, unfortunately he hasn't quite lived up to those heights in the 2nd half. Has been a solid rotation option.
Luke Shaw - 8 - Lost his place at the start of the year but got it back and didn't look back. Great year from Luke, playing either LB or CB.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7 - Non-present in the first half of the season. 2nd half he has played a stormer, rock solid, played some of the best wingers off the park. Not enough goals or assists though.
Bruno Fernandes - 8 - Top class, some stickers in there but his productivity and energy are as important as ever.
Christian Eriksen - 6 - good start to his career but dwindled as the year went on and got a bad injury. We need to pick his games next year as I don't think he's a 40+ game player next year.
Marcel Sabitzer - 6 - Came in, put some good performances, scored 3 goals and left. Solid outing as a United player.
Fred - 7 - Great first half, scored and created plenty for a player if his profile. Unfortunately his form went off a cliff in the 2nd half of the season.
Casemiro - 8 - Top class signing. Has made a huge difference in the middle of the park. Just a few suspensions that have blemished a good season for him.
Facundo Pellistri - 5 - barley had a look in but has been pretty exciting in the short cameos.
Donny van de Beek - 3 - Did very little in the time he was fit to get into the first team.
Scott McTominay - 5 - A lot of time in and out of the team and getting injured. Has largely been inconsistent when playing.
Kobbie Mainoo - 6 - solid outings when given the chance.
Anthony Martial - 5 - Started off brightly but then got injured and his season never got going. Struggled for form and fitness. Need more than 9 goals from our starting striker.
Marcus Rashford - 9 - Phenomenal season from Marcus. 30 goals is a superb return. Needs to do it again next year.
Antony - 6 - Good first season. Some stunning goals. Needs to find more consistency to start to live up to that huge price tag.
Jadon Sancho - 4 - Underwhelming. Not enough impact when called upon.
Wout Weghorst - 4 - 2 goals and an important assist in he cup final. Otherwise, one of the worst strikers to have played for the club.
Anthony Elanga - 3 - Promising start but lost his place in the team and never looked like getting it back. No goals for him is pretty sad but never looked like scoring apart from hitting the post against Liverpool.
Alejandro Garnacho - 7 - Excellent first year. Needs to do more from the start in games to transition away from bing the super sub.

It was interesting the other day when ETH said "four, five, six" players had had really good seasons. I think he was talking of Rashford, Martinez, Casemiro, Shaw, Varane, and maybe Garnacho. Those would be the ones I'd say come away from this season with good merit. Some squad players did better than I expected, like AWB and Lindelof. While players who needed to have good seasons like Sancho and Martial were poor. Antony is hard to evaluate as he's tactically important but has excruciating end product. Bruno with high highs and low lows (like today, as is customary in big matches).

For Erik to manage to get this team to 3rd and win a cup I think is a pretty good achievement, but now it's time to gut the squad and let go of those who aren't of a good enough standard, drafting in young players if need be, to build a team/squad based on merit. And the hierarchy have to start being sensible in terms of contracts and wages.

Didn't give Donny a rating as he wasn't really featured that much but his time here is surely done. Mainoo looks promising and Pellistri did mostly quite well for the few minutes he was afforded.

I've been very unhappy with Sancho this season. But to say he's been worse than Maguire and Weghorst is insanity. It doesn't get worse than them 2.

Best player overall: Casemiro without him we’d have struggled massively.
Worst player overall: Wout Weghorst Why was he brought in?
Biggest surprise: AWB/Dalot both did a great job at RB at different parts of the season.
Biggest disappointment: Jadon Sancho/Martial expected much more after pre-season.

It's weird to see Bruno rated a 6 when he had 30+ goals contributions this season, would have had even more assists if we had a good striker.

I agree with all of this. If I'm to change anything I'd probably give Antony a 6 which might come as a surprise as I appear to be his biggest hater (critic) on the forum.

DDG - 3 - horrible season from him. Cost us today, cost us in the Europa League. So many mistakes with the 1 thing he is supposed to be good at to add on to some horrible playing out from the back and the usual cowardly dealing with high balls. Needs replacing ASAP.

Victor Lindelöf - 7 - very capable 3rd choice CB. Underrated IMO, and has filled in very well throughout the season. Should stay.
Harry Maguire - 4 - barely featured, looked bad and unsuited whenever he did. Surely has played his last game.
Lisandro Martínez - 9 - brilliant LCB, genuinely think he's one of the best in the world in that position. We missed him massively these last 2 months. Need more signings like him
Tyrell Malacia - 6 - I like him a lot, great attitude, low cost, young but has space to grow. Has a lot of good attributes but needs to develop, but has the time and room to develop.
Raphaël Varane - 7 - Formed a very good partnership with Martinez, came up big in big games. The injuries will likely keep getting worse, but overall makes a big difference for us.
Diogo Dalot - 6 - Excellent first half of the season, lost form post injury after the world cup. Glad he extended his contract as he has a lot of ability to develop in the future, but I hope he takes the next step next season.
Luke Shaw - 8 - up there with one of our best performers this season. He's a world class player for me, suits Ten Hag perfectly and so important to us.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 6 - First half non existent, 2nd half of the season very good. Has developed a lot and while he'll never be a natural going forward, he has come up big at times. I like our RB blend, but hope one steps up further.

Bruno Fernandes - 8 - One of the top 3 in the world in his position
Christian Eriksen - 6 - started off really well, post injury he really slowed down though and was looking older and older. Needs to be a squad player
Marcel Sabitzer - 5 - necessary loan signing to cover injuries. Did ok.
Fred - 7 - might be his last season, but had a good season IMO. He may be inconsistent but he's far more often a huge positive. We'll miss his energy as a squad player.
Casemiro - 9 - world class player, Roy Keane Regen. Need to balance it so he's not asked to do too much.
Facundo Pellistri - 6 - probably will leave, he's decent but doesn't have space.
Donny van de Beek - 4 - didn't play before injury, don't see a future anyway
Scott McTominay - 6 - started off the season well, is our best bet to fill in for casemiro but just not suited to any position that ten hag uses.
Anthony Martial - 3 - always injured. Waste of a squad spot.
Marcus Rashford - 9 - 30 goals, love him. 1 man attack in terms of what he offers going forward
Antony - 6 - think he has huge potential, but very frustrating (and useful) player. He's not particularly likable either. Hope he hits his potential.
Jadon Sancho - 5 - some decent moments, but generally way too passive and soft.
Wout Weghorst - 5 - came in to replace Ronaldo and be a physical body given injuries.. he did provide that, worked hard, but yeah talent just not there.
Anthony Elanga - 4 - didn't rate him and ten hag doesn't either.
Alejandro Garnacho - 8 - elite talent. He'll break through before too long.

Ten Hag - 9 - he's an excellent manager and have 0 doubts about him. It's not an easy job but he's doing really well and we are well on the right path

DDG - Things De Gea has added to his goalkeeping repertoire this season; Saving shots INTO the goal instead of away from it; running as far away from the goal as possible; the skillful art of passing to the only team mate on the pitch who is being marked by 3 players who would all be through on goal if they tackled him. Rounded off a satisfactory season by costing his team the FA Cup. Weirdly foreshadowed by the BBC coverage which spent half the game showing slow motion clips of De Gea's face. Harsh probably but you don't really want a first choice goalkeeper to be someone wo you're constantly worried is goin to cost you the game. 4

Victor Lindelöf - Same as always. Would be a good defender if would just deal with things rather than constantly wait until a situation becomes a problem and then panic. Perfect example on the first goal yet again yesterday. Why not just clear the ball instead of standing a metre away staring at it bounce in front of you and then waiting to see if it causes a problem? Will never learn. 5
Harry Maguire - Almost feel bad for saying it but he just isn't a Premier League footballer. ETH seemed to realise this pretty quickly. Probably due to it actually being very obvious indeed. 4
Lisandro Martínez - Some kind of pre-requisite of being an Argentinian defender that you have to be an insane angry madman. Fortunately is also pretty good at defending and weirdly our most comfortable player in possession. 8.5
Tyrell Malacia - Pretty good first season until he had some kind of meltdown around March time and now seems to have a trauma episode about it every time he has to defend.
Raphaël Varane - Very good season. Would have been an easy 8 if he had a) stayed fit more, b) not tried to make his hair look like Sancho's. 7
Diogo Dalot - Still not sure what he's supposed to be good at. Had a run of good form where he basically got less bad at things and passed the opposition through on goal slightly less. Weirdly has clearly improved a lot but I can't figure out how or at what exactly. 6
Luke Shaw - Another who would be a solid 8 if it wasn't for the fitness inconsistency and being at the forefront of every collective team meltdown. 7
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - Underrated because someone decided a few years back that unless he becomes the best attacking fullback since Roberto Carlos, he should be constantly criticised for not being good enough at attacking. 7

Bruno Fernandes - Increasingly annoying obsession with pointlessly trying backheels or trying to do a fancy version of something actually quite easy and then fecking it up. Quite frequently in situations where the outcome should really have been a goal. Still a good player but I mean just cut out the being an idiot and you'd be a much better one. 6
Christian Eriksen - Again would be an 8 but for the injury and coming back from it apparently about 10 years older. 7
Marcel Sabitzer - Signed (I assumed) to cover for Eriksen or Casemiro but was basically just a kind of mix of Fred/Mctominay instead. Didn't do badly but didn't offer anything we didn't alreayd have really. 6
Fred - The human version of some kind of class A drug that gives you a ridiculous high but brings you back down to feeling a solid -100/10 when it wears off. Has a sugar puff stuck in his hair. 6
Casemiro - Again would have been a higher rating but missed like half the second part of the season due to violently strangling an innocent man to death and then laughing about it with the lifeless corpse. Still an 8 because when he was good he really was pretty good, and when he was bad he'd still often be our best player. 8

Donny van de Beek - Genuinely forgot he was alive. Soon to be replaced by Mason Mount who will also never get in the team but will do so slightly more effectively than VDB. 5
Scott McTominay - Weghorst except if Weghorst scored significantly more often. 6
Kobbie Mainoo - He played like once for about 20 minutes?

Facundo Pellistri - One of those who mysteriously apparently became a better player by almost never playing, and then not really doing much when he did. 6
Anthony Martial - Probably a very harsh rating but completely fed up with him literally not even trying to do anything all game despite the fact he must know he's a decent player WHEN he can be bothered. No succesful team ever has players like this in it. 3
Marcus Rashford - Finally realised he can just run towards the goal and score rather than spend 80% of his time standing still with the ball. Hopefully pushes on. Hopefully gets some help with the goal scoring so our season doesn't basically end as soon as he stops scoring every single week. 8
Antony - Its a high six and it would be an easy seven if he'd at least pretend to have a right foot from time to time. Amazing special skill ability to spin around slowly with the ball and then tackle himself which for some reason has remained criminally underused since its initial outing in the Europa League 6.
Jadon Sancho - I dunno. He's obviously good at football, but it just seems a bit like a technically excellent boxer who has pillows for hands and detests all forms of violence. 5
Wout Weghorst - Basically what you'd expect if you signed a player on loan from Burnley because he wasn't good enough to play for Burnley. 5
Anthony Elanga - One of the ways to realise how much we've improved this season is to remember that this time last year he was one of our better players. 5
Alejandro Garnacho - Probably my favourite player to watch in our squad because he will always try something direct, and has the ability and awareness for that not to just make him infuriating. Getting progressively weirder looking. 7

Ten Hag - Unacceptable overuse of the word unacceptable aside, I'm more convinced by him than by anyone else post Ferguson. 8

Maguire has actually been decent since losing his place in starting 11 back in August so even a 6 wouldn't be wrong but ultimately he still showed at times why he can't start games so 5/10 is about right. Dalot had 7/10 until WC but played worse since. Pellistri is a 7 as he showed promise when given chance. First season in PL for Antony so can't be too harsh on him but he was so frustrating in many games that I can't give him more than 6. Malacia was 7/10 in first part of the season.

DDG - 5 - Unfortunately, he's made too many mistakes this season and it's time for a change. Doesn't do enough of the things he is said to do well, and also has too many limitations.

Victor Lindelöf - 6.5 - Solid when called upon. He's a good number 3/4 option. But a definite step down from top tier Martinez and Varane.

Harry Maguire - 4 - Can't wait for him to go.

Lisandro Martínez - 8.5 - LOVE him. Exactly the calibre of player we need.

Tyrell Malacia - 6 - Thought he was great when he first came, but has dropped off a little since then. Still has a lot to learn.

Raphaël Varane - 8 - Brilliant player, but I have question marks over the amount of injuries/niggles he picks up.

Diogo Dalot - 5.5 - He'll do for now, but definitely upgradeable.

Luke Shaw - 8 - He's got better and better has the season has gone on. Really looks like the player we thought we signed years ago.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7 - He's grown on me. I do still find him too frustrating in attack.

Bruno Fernandes - 7.5/8 - he's our most important player, imo. Still frustrating at times, but he can pop up and do something even when he's having a quiet or bad game.

Christian Eriksen - 6 - Good against teams that sit back, but crumbles when he has to be more aggressive or when he has less time. Think he is definitely upgradeable, but I do think he has
a place in the squad, for sure.

Marcel Sabitzer - 6? - Quite like him, tbh. He's a good option to come off the bench or for rotation.

Fred - 6.5 - he's useful and is a decent squad option, but I do think we need more from someone in his positon.

Casemiro - 8 - he's a class player but his form after injuries/suspension does worry me. Seems to need a lot of games to hit his stride. That's a little frustrating. When he's on form, he is on another level to what anyone else can do or offer.

Facundo Pellistri - to be honest, we have not seen enough of him to make a judgement. Doesn't get game time.

Donny van de Beek - 3.5 - he's invisible. Hasn't worked out for him, needs a different club/league.

Scott McTominay - 5 - Useful...ish. Need more from a player in his position.

Kobbie Mainoo - not seen enough of him to make any judgements this season.

Anthony Martial - 4 - Can't stand the guy. He's injured, he comes back and looks good for a few games, he then looks disinterested and off the pace, then he gets injured again. We should expect more from a striker at Man Utd.

Marcus Rashford - 8 - Unreal season from him. Glad to see that fire in him and that willingness to score goals. A large part of me does think that this is an outlier of a season rather than what we can expect as the norm.

Antony - 6 - I can't decide whether I like him or not. He is very limited with what he can do, and he telegraphs that 'trick' he does where he comes inside and shoots on his stronger foot. A bit too one-footed and slow for my liking. There's no denying it, we have clearly overpaid for what we're getting. Hope he shows a lot more in his next season.

Jadon Sancho - 3 - Too frustrating. Too weak, too slow, too wimpish, not brave enough to make an impact on games. My general feeling is that this club is too big for him. He doesn't do enough, which then puts pressure on others to do more. We need and should expect more from someone in his position and with his overall cost.

Wout Weghorst - 1. Awful and hideous player who never, ever should have been allowed to come anywhere near this club. A striker who cannot and does not want to score goals.

Anthony Elanga - 3.5 - honestly can't remember the last time he played, so I'm going with the score off memory. Needs moving on.

Alejandro Garnacho - 7.5. A young, ballsy player who wants to take others on, and who wants to score goals. We need much more of this attitude in the squad.

Ten Hag - 8. He's exceeded expectations this season. Great work from him to get us back into the champions league, winning one trophy and getting into the final of another. At the same time, we've also taken some big and painful batterings this season...so there's still a lot of work to be done. Trying not to get too carried away. However, there's no denying that we have a really mixed ability squad, with some absolute duds in there, so to do as well as we have done this season is impressive.

Best player overall: Martinez. He's looked the absolute real deal when he's played.
Worst player overall: Weghorst. An abysmal player and questions do need to be asked over why he was ever allowed to come here.
Biggest surprise: Garnacho. A complete revelation.
Biggest disappointment: Sancho. Had Sancho not existed, Antony would take this prize. But, the level of disappointment I feel for Sancho is different to Antony. At least Antony can offer or do something when he has the ball, and he has something about him. Sancho should expect more of himself and should be offering a lot more as a Man Utd player.
