No offense but people who said stuff like “so you’re going to ignore the good things players X said and just choose to believe this one negative thing instead?” probably are not familiar with how contracts and NDAs usually work.

The very fact that Pogba even said this tells me that his NDA is probably not as throttling as some other players’ in United or other clubs. I’d reckon some players would find themselves “giving” interviews to “respectable” publications, saying positive things about their clubs which they never actually said and which they can’t publicly say they never said because somewhere in their contracts they have given their clubs the right to use their name in that way, which in most cases would be harmless and mutually beneficial PR wise.

The penalties for breaking NDAs are usually quite devastating to ensure that people won’t be breaking them. Pogba saying this is, just IMO, very telling of what he really thinks about his situation at United.
