Not anymore, but I highly recommend you steal it from your kid and hijack it for yourself.
I was going to give you this GIF until I saw the white text!

    Annoyingly addictive game.

My worst memory was training Pikachu to a high level. My hands shook with excitement when I gave it a thunderstone only for that small piece of shit to reject it. Arrgh!

In Pokemon Yellow? It's supposed to reject it, also never give Pikachu a thunderstone, Raichu is rubbish

Yeah I know but I must have forgotten it. Don't think I've ever had a Raichu now that I think of it.

Didn't like any of the games after Gold/Silver. The first 2 generation were the best imo. Simple, yet addictive

I always went for Bulba or Squirtle. Charmander usually got himself raped at the first 2 gyms:(

Yeah Charmander makes the start really hard but I love Charizard. Bulbasaur was my first ever and I'm not so keen now.

I was always a blastoise man, never actually had a venasaur or any good grass pokemon for that matter.

    I named my rival Snowjoe.

I downloaded a VBA em for mac from coolroms and got the game no worries, but I can't seem to make the vba window any bigger and it's quite small.... any ideas?

Venusaur was a bit shit from memory. Think the last attack he learns was some paralysis shit which annoyed me

    Excellent.

Blastoise is a boss, apparently the new one you can choose one of the three original starters, it's going to be hard to choose between Squirtle and Charmander.

Haven't used it for about 10 years but if I remember correctly in the options menu if you go to the video or display settings you can choose x1/x2/x3 etc to increase the display.

Did they ever release any of the old ones (Red, blue and the likes) on the DS or anything? I'd play them for the nostalgia.

Wouldn't touch any of the new ones where there's about a 1000 pokemon.

Gold was amazing. I remember my mum and dad getting me it when we went on holiday in France to shut me up in the car. They couldn't get me off the fecking thing!

I've got a copy of Heart Gold somewhere in the house, just incredible. I still can't believe how big that game was.

Nope, i want to have a go at doing all that again though. I was a bit of an idiot with Pokemon when i was younger, it was all about running through it fast and usually using like 1 Pokemon all the time. So i often ended up with one absolute monster and all the others mega underlevelled

Does anyone still hold down whatever buttons they believed help you catch a pokemon when they throw a ball? To this day I still hold down down and B.
