Let him go and use the wages to get a fully functioning midfielder in. There is no justification for him to be earning that much £. Yes he's got quite a few assists this season, but some of those are pure stat padding.

He's flirted with the idea of leaving (through his agent) for years. And if his agent wasn't speaking for him, he could easily have put up a "fake news" post on social media, like he did with the "Pogba ignores Ole" headline.

Where’s he going in Spain? Surely Madrid will be blowing their budget on Mbappe first, and maybe Haaland too. Do Barca have any money?
Spain, Italy, France, Scotland who gives a feck that's Paul Pogba's problem come June.

Let him go a.s.a.p as he´s such a overrated player that it´s astounding. He has got all the talent needed in a midfielder but lacks the drive and commitment to maximise his talents. How many games has he had in United shirt and done everything in his maxium power ? How many times has he been poor? How many times has he done silly mistakes costing his team? His latest in getting a red card in spite in a lost game and as a result missing 3 key games was just the latest. His supporters have been making excuses for him left, right and center and blaiming everybody else than himself. When you look at players like Robson, Ince, Keane and Scholes they gave us consistent performances but when they did have off games you could never accuse them of going misssing in action and not giving a effort....How many times has Pogba gone missing in action?

Agreed, we did it with Rooney and De Gea so don't blame him for trying it.
I do. Rooney had been a legend for us and was on his way to being the clubs record goalscorer. DDG at the time had saved us for a number of years in a row and was seen as being level to Neuer. Pogba has done nothing of the sort to expect such wages.

Pogba will probably be great at his next club. We don't know how to use him, he should leave.
Plus, years of being the presses' bad guy has probably made him bitter.
How many clubs will build their entire team around him? He's not even great for France who offer him a lot more protection. He has greater moments for France but you can't compare international football to top level domestic/European football.

I haven't watched a lot of France, but what I watched he was phenomenal.

Someone will be willing to build the team around him, he should look for that.

Can't wait to see the back of him and his agent. He's a luxury player who we don't need, can't accommodate and who never really looks like he wants to be here.

A huge mistake as a signing, resources can be much better used building a midfield with a balance of skill and workrate. Not just show pony and tricks.

A great talent who entered the game in the Liverpool match, conceded a goal, got a direct red card and stayed on the field for 15 minutes. It shows every time why mental traits are more important than talent.

It's crackers that none of our fanbase seem to give a shit that our record signing is out for 2 months, and that he's likely to walk for free at the end of the season.

Almost completely justified, but still a weird situation nonetheless.
If only he played more like our top signing rather than an upcoming player from our academy.

Get rid of him asap, a total self-absorbed waster and certainly not a team player, zero ‘character’.

I get the feeling that Raiola has worked out that Utd are the most likely club (read most stupid) to give him a salary bump. No way he gets the same money elsewhere in Europe. Possibly PSG, but that is a retirement home for ambition.
I sincerely hope we do not renew him. Not worth even half of the money he is currently on, let alone any more.

Pretty sure gerrard did the same thing for pool and there will be other examples through history of good players doing similar. Picking out singular things like this can be done for any position you want to take. You can just as easily say when pogba scored 2 in the second half comeback vs city what great mental strength, when he hit 4 assists in the leeds match this season what great mental strength to drag united to a win after leeds levelled.

Put pogba in a strong functioning team with a good manager he will perform, put him in a dysfunctional team with a poor manager he will struggle. Just like De Bruyne for Belgium, Bruno portugal, etc. The only two players who seem to be able to drag weaker teams to victories by themselves are messi and ronaldo. And with the later even he has a big job on to drag this united team to trophies.

On his day, when he’s up for it, which isn’t often, Pogba is astonishing. But it isn’t often we see THAT Pogba, which is why the contract offer should be withdrawn and allow him to walk away. If we can sell him in January for 10m let’s just get it over with.

But it’s hard to think about the last six seasons and not see it as a complete waste of time for United and Pogba himself.

Rice and Bellingham are the 2 players to sign and build our team around.
These 2 could be our starting midfielders for the next decade. W ould take both above Haaland at the moment. Needs are must.

Wages alone we are gonna save pockets if we move on Pogba, Jones, Mata, Dalot, Henderson, Lingard, Cavani, Martial,Fred, Pereira, Chong, Axel,Williams
We are gonna recoup 80ill in fees too for Hendo, Martial Axel and Fred.

We are then left with a good squad, mixture of youth and experience and a strong midfield..with a good manager/coach this team could win things.

De gea, Heaton, Bishop

AWB Shaw Telles Menghi Laird, Bailly, Varane, Maguire,Lindesoft

Rice, Bellingham, Mctominay, VDB, Matic, Hannibal, Bruno

Sancho, Ronaldo, Rashford, Elanga, Greenwood

Hes been one of the biggest parts of our dysfunctional aspect.

Nothing is going to change (enough) to justify his wages. Cash in on him asap. Been saying this for ages, but now it's probably too late & he'll go on a free

I love Pogba, think he’s out most talented player. But he, after Ole, has to go. Need to only have players and staff who tick both of 2 boxes 1) Quality 2) desire to be at United

Someone post a the clip of untied vs Wimbledon... Eric's stunner. Look at the grit from our team.

Pogba is a fraud in comparison. We need to dominate in midfield.

Players who can't defend are a luxury. We have Ronaldo already.

I don't buy those reports. He's only just started training under Rangnick, while under Ole he had a manager who shielded him from every single bit of criticism, even when his agent was dragging the club through the mud on the eve of an important match. While Rangnick has put a stop to his holidays to Dubai while injured and would likely - just like Jose - not allow him to travel away from matches in his Rolls Royce, rather than the team bus, as it's all about the collective.

If those reports are based on anything from his camp, it is because United is the only club where he can realistically get a contract that he does not merit in the slightest.

I'd be very surprised to see Rangnick green light a 400-500K deal for him.

Could it not make sense for both us and him with a short contract? Maybe Real Madrid could be an option next summer?

I mean, PSG? If it is about money, then I’m sure that is fine…

Will all depend how he plays when he returns, maybe he lights it up and helps us beat Atletico and then the round after that, he might fit perfectly into the way Rangnick wants to play. I imagine though he performs just OK and leaves on a free.

Much is he looking for? Do we really want to go down this road again, Pogba has be decent for us but really is a bit of a disappointment considering expectations and price. We know we won’t be getting anything different than what we’ve seen before.

He’ll probably put in a few 8/10 performances and waltz away at the end of the season. I would bet he’s only motivated to play well because he wants a big fat contract elsewhere.

Slightly concerned that he hasn’t signed a pre contract elsewhere already. He’s been able to speak to clubs abroad since the start of the month. If he waits until the end of the season he can speak to English clubs. Could be like Tevez all over again…

He’s reportedly on £300k a week now, the club have apparently offered him £400k a week to resign. If those numbers are anywhere near true someone needs firing into the sun.

That’s far too much, we’d be paying for a brand not a player and I don’t even think his brand is so big nowadays..

Technically, there should be a third option along the lines of:

Edwood Feckward, are you still rattling around somewhere up there you goddam moron?

Or fold it in under 'No'.

Mourinho was right on this one.

Nice and happy boy, but dont have anything to do with the role he was brought here to perform.

He is more volatile than the stock market.

I think the club are so desperate for him to not walk away for free again they will offer him the earth to stay.

And just wait for the consequences if he gets 400k a week. Bruno isn't going to accept anything less given he plays more and actually performs for us consistently.

It's time to get rid. He's simply not worth that type of money.

Let’s reward a big contract to a serial underperformer who habitually brings the club into disrepute because, despite his best efforts, he can’t find anyone else that wants him. No thanks.

Good news is there'll be an intern furiously compiling the poll results here to show to Dick Arnold.

Let him go and get a younger hungrier player in on sensible wages. No more round holes filled with square pegs.

Hope this is one turd United can get rid of. If he is re-signed on a bigger contract, this club is in more serious trouble than we think.
