Bruno is one of the most effective playmakers in the world when given space between the lines and runners to pick out - Ronaldo's total inability/unwillingness to run in behind torpedoed the whole attack. Plus the whole rest of the team is gassed because they have to play 10 v 11 off the ball and in build up.
Ronaldo was washed 8 years ago. Crazy that Ramos has 4 times as many knockout goals in something like 15% of the minutes as Tuga Homelander

KO goals only became a big stat since 2022. It took Messi more minutes to get his first WC KO than Ronaldo. This is despite playing an entire KO tournament in 2014 including all 120 minutes in a final.
