Newcastle has suddenly become Ole's Waterloo

I know it was a shit pitch and we played a random team but it's the same story told a different way. We don't look like we know how to move the ball up the pitch and we certainly don't look like we know how to score.

Boring game, as expected. Excuses incoming, I'm guessing something like: Difficult away game. Injuries. Astroturf hard to play on. Should have had a penalty. Happy with the point.

Was going to say at least we made it through on that dodgy pitch without an injury....doh

Good Points. Nothing extra. Did the job

Playing subs
Playing youngsters
Playing on artificial turf
Playing away against good team that is third in Eredivisie.
Playing knowing we got Newcastle in three days
Clean sheet
Not good in offense

It’s really sad how predictable that all was.

I really try and see the positives. I do. But the positives only highlight how shit we really are.

Really really bad match to watch ... again. I mean, I don’t want to keep sacking managers but match after match of this show that this is actually what we are under Ole.

It's soul-crushing how tedious and boring most of our games have been for the last six years. It's very hard to find any joy in this post-Fergie United: lethargic, clumsy, bland... There’s just so little to be excited about.

Is Lingard's injury the only positive to take from this? Bar Ron Vlaar, I've never heard of 1 of their players, but they played far better stuff than us. Do we need to end this fallacy that we can't try and play attractive football because the players aren't good enough?

I know its probably hard to play fluid stuff when you field fringe players who don't play together regularly, but what's the excuse for the 1st team? We could probably have had the same 11 out tonight that started vs Arsenal and then result would have been the same.

Dire stuff.

Our attacking play is so bad. I watched City last night and they just effortlessly move the ball into the opposition box. We struggle just to get the ball 30 yards away from the oppositions goal. Every pass is safe and the movement is non existant. It's so easy for the opposition to defend against. The coaching has to improve because regardless of if it's young players or established players they all play the same way.

Thank goodness the early kick off time meant that I missed most of that.

I have seen Moyeschester United, Louisville United, Mouchester United. All had more structure than this

All said and done. This draw away is a decent result.

Shocking, they should be ashamed.

AZ to not have won against that dross.

Nah.
Liverpool at home might be the melting pot though.

I never want to see Matic, Mata and Fred play for us again. Sick of it.

Clean sheet!

Joking aside I hope this stops people from saying why we don't start Greenwood or play Gomes. Woefully shite the pair of them.
They still weren't worse than their senior counterparts.

You'd think kids like Greenwood and Gomes will at least play with some enthusiasm, run around more, press.
But no, they were worse than Mata and Matic.

Obviously goals are huge problem but I’d like to see tactical analysis of what we are doing wrong.

Are we just not committing enough bodies to an attack? Is the movement letting us down? The crossing? all of the above?

Pathetic. Nothing more to describe.

I can't believe I would utter these words for united and God is witness I wish only good for this club I support, but I have gathered courage to say this...

At this level we are in serious danger of getting relegated

Honestly don't know why I'm surprised or upset with this performance. It was exactly what I thought it would be. Looking forward to Ole saying we're improving and heading in the right direction in his post match interview.

3. Lingard injured
4. Nope... That's about as much positive things about that shitfest

Jesus mate they are kids. Playing in a poor team. They had bad games but that is why you need good players around them. Not the sh*te we have.

That was absolutely atrocious.

This just might be the worst United squad ever assembled.
