Love seeing the Academy deliver. Elanga did not stand out, but the effort was 100% there. Fantastic effort. Unthankful role tonight. Garnacho was the MoTM. He owned his guy the entire night. Pellestri comes in and is a difference maker, just a handful of minutes but a great offensive play and a great defensive play.

Martinez, Rashford, Casemiro are a cut above.
Excellent cameo from Pellistri

Also shout out to Heaton. Nice assured and confident goalkeeping

Pellistri looked more direct than Antony at the end.

Antony has a terrible habit of being on a break and slowing down the play, which is disappointing but early days.

Job done...

Nervy at times but you expect that with McT and Wan Bissaka in the side.

Elanga should not see another minute of action ahead of Pellistri, IMO

Garnacho MOTM

Pellestri deserves a chance, offers something different to Antony, like running at and beating people

Pellistri looked excellent. AWB was decent, Rashford good as always.

Elanga and Maguire beyond shocking, both should not be here next season. Antony with a good goal but he still looks uninspiring.

Surely this isn’t just confidence rather than Rashfords finishing going up 2 levels?

Solid game, very comfortable. Should have scored more but their keeper played well. Pellistri cameo was great. Mainoo needs time and I thought Scott and Elanga were poor.

Job done.

Clever from EtH to take the risk on Rashford, Casemiro and Eriksen from a momentum perspective. It can be as important as fitness.

Solid. Nice to see so many youngsters playing fast and with good pace. I would like to see more to Pellistri. Garnancho is just pure class

Didn't see the game but great result. Sad to hear Dalot is injured. Rashford with all the momentum for the derby

Would be lovely to get the winner of Forest and Wolves next round.

Garnacho was good. Threatening throughout. Rashford was invisible.. untill he banged in two goals. Pellistri deserves more minutes after this. Did more in 10 minutes than Elanga did the whole match. Casemiro great as usual. Don't think AWB has been mentioned much but I thought he did well.

Excellent cameo from Pellistri, he did more in 10 minutes than Elanga did all season.

Rashford with professional finishing, however MotM should probably go to Garnacho.

Heaton and Lisandro both good, McTominay and Maguire just terrible

Nice to see the goals are starting to flow...yes the 3 goals tonight should have come earlier, but the players got there in the end.

That must be the 4th time United have scored 3 goals since the restart in the league!

Rashford gonna need a back brace soon

Pellestri being given the early season Garnacho treatment. Hopefully he gets more minutes.

Hope Dalot's sub was precautionary.

Healthy habit of scoring 3 goals a game in Old Trafford. A win, clean sheet while making 8 changes to the starting 11, job done.

Not sure where the two semi finals will fit in with such hectic schedule.

Job done. In parts, poor but overall had too much quality for Charlton. Hope to avoid shitty in the semis...

...and one request for ETH, please pick Pellestri ahead of Elanga from now on!

Easy win in the end. Rashford keeps his run going. Pellistri had a good showing and deserves more minutes. Hope Dalot is ok. Shoutout to Heaton who was calm all night.

I thought the second half bordered on unprofessional at times.

Squad game and all that, but we’ll need to sharpen up in the games to come.

We also create very little without Bruno, it must be said.

Semi finals here we come.

Dont think we played too well, with Elanga and Mainoo it was like playing with 9, for the latter time is on his side, but Elanga has been consistently poor and uninspiring and given plenty of chances.

Heaton proves he could be our number 2.

Malacia did well, Fred ok, Garnacho excellent

Pellestri great cameo.

It shows how badly we need a striker...

I think what some of you have to realise is EtH has had ONE window at the club.

The squad is still very thin beyond the first XI and when you rotate too much you will nearly always get bitty play, even against lesser opposition.

United rely heavily on Casemiro as we literally have no other comparable player in his role.

Previously we’d have crashed out tonight or gone to pens. Instead it seems the performance was broken up but we won 3-0 with over 70% possession and 21 shots on goal.

Some of you need to realise how early we are in our evolution, that Ten Hag is still finding things out with his squad and try not to forget how poor we were less than 12 months ago..

Amazing how you can spend 160m on two players yet Garnacho and Pellistri look much better. Garnacho has been brilliant every game, hopefully Pellistri can get some playing time. He looked decent in the World Cup as well.

His finishing has definitely improved. Good first goal. Though it had an element of luck, he took too long and was almost dispossessed.

But I am enjoying this phase. Hope he has climbed a couple of levels rather than just having his confidence back.

Good first and last 20 mins of the game.

Garnacho has a great first touch! Really does well to take it in his stride and be direct. Definitely deserves to be in the attacker rotation.

Thought we were good first 30 minutes, controlled it and attacked at will with Garnacho outstanding. Went a bit scrappy and second half Charlton had a good go forcing ETH to put his better midfield on.
Pellistri was brilliant in his cameo. Definitely first team standard. Nice touch, good passing also fast and skilful.
