Still buzzing we got the win here… just ashame it was on a weekend where city and pool also won.

A rare win in London and against Palace away for United nowadays and did it from 1-0 behind so credit where it's due for that win.

Basic match stats

1st half
Goals - Palace 1 United 0
Shots on goal - Palace 8 United 5
Shots on target - Palace 3 United 2
Passes - Palace 125 United 218

2nd half
Goals - Palace 0 United 2
Shots on goal - Palace 5 United 8
Shots on target - Palace 0 United 3
Passes - Palace 134 United 158

Very frustrating. And a rubbish draw versus a uselsss Spurs.

West Ham and Wolves next - 2 worst teams in the league by a mile. Let’s see if we mean business by getting the 6 points. To me the next 2 games will be the most telling.
Burnley are worse than West Ham IMO, but for sure anything less than 6 points from those would be a big disappointment.

Paqueta was sent off against Liverpool and won't be abvailable - that should help.

Great to get another away win. Never easy on the road. Our 2nd one for the season the other coming against Liverpool at Anfield.

Watched the game and Palace were better in the 1st half and went into half time 1-0 up courtesy of a penalty.

We were better in the 2nd half and came from behind scoring 2 very good goals via Zirkzee and Mount.
Palace had a free kick right in the depths of stoppage time so I was a little nervous at the end but the wall did its job.

Great win. Was not optimistic and especially not after that 1st half but Palace definitely got tired as game progressed and we took our chances in 2nd half.

Nice win to make us feel better after Everton. But also worse, we'd be in 4th or something if we managed to beat a 10 men Everton at OT.

Have to pick up more wins over December with our schedule. Even Mbeumo and Amad leaving for AFCON won't be valid excuse.

First half there were 3 players surrounding 1 of ours. Just no space to play our game. Maybe they got tired. Maybe we decided to press more.

We could have scored 2 goals in the first 10 minutes. Need to have a fast start.

Boys played well. Even Shaw. Dalot was abysmal.

Happy that we won, but I wish our open play was better, it felt like we had no control for half the game. Mount and Zirkzee need to keep this up, they'll be relied upon more in the next few weeks.

I wondered about this at the time, but why the feck is this blasting out of the PA system after the home side have lost?

Whoever's in charge of the music must be a United fan.

Have you heard about mustard gate on the concourse at half time?

Palace unbeaten at Home since Feb...ave it!

Well done Amorim and well done United

Over the moon we got the win, but the win was achieved despite Amorim and not because of him. He is being given every chance going to back down from his ridiculous decision to play Bruno in the midfield and still persists. Next to no decent chances created in open play, it was a shocking performance made to look better by Palace completely running out of gas in the second half. We have to get real and stop fooling ourselves that this was some sort of halftime masterstroke from Amorim.

Nope! the victory was achieved by the coaches and players overcoming a Palace side that started well, the difference between the first half and the second only highlights what a good job the coaches and players did at half-time.

Bring on West Ham!

Happy for you to disagree 100%!

Exactly how I feel about it too.
We were poor again and palace just ran out of legs.
Happy with the win but nothing has changed really.

What's the alternative to playing Bruno in midfield? I agree he doesnt fit there, but the worse decision was keeping him knowing we were going to play this formation where he doesnt fit when we could've gotten 100 mil and invested in the midfield.

Amorim isnt going to change formation, so the only alternative with Bruno is playing him as one of the 10s. That means dropping one of the 70 mil players we just bought. And if we do that, it means playing either Mainoo or Ugarte in midfield with Casemiro. Neither have looked good when featured this season because one doesnt have the legs and one hasnt adjusted well to this league. We could try it, but Im not sure it would be any better. And if we drop Cunha for Bruno, we lack anyone that can play balls in behind from midfield and anyone that can run in behind past Sesko.

Was fuming when Amorim took Shaw off. Replacing a center back, who’s been great all game, with someone who hasn’t played for a year seemed utterly stupid. Happy that Palace were toothless and didn’t manage any serious pressure in the end.

Also, why are you allowed to retake a penalty after a double touch? Strange rule.

Because there were so many players who slipped and there was that quarter-final game where Alvarez slipped and scored after a double-touch and the goal was disallowed. Real won the game because of it, and after that the rules were changes. But I have never seen a player do it without slipping, like Mateta did

If you take into consideration that Palace haven't lost at home since february - that they have one of the best defensive records in the P.L (9 goals against, in 12 matches before the game against us) - we did really well. I know Palace were tired, but that second half we played was really good

Was out unfortunately and didn't get to see this.
Let out a scream after I checked the scores. Had a lot of people looking at me funny

I mean, a wins a win and we have to take it.

2 great finishes from us too > especially Zirkzee.

But we gave away so many chances > on another day we're 3-0 and the games done in the first half.

Our bench is very uninspiring. Who can make an impact off the bench?

Swapping 2 CB's during the game again - I hate this from Amorin.

I thought this would be the perfect game to play Bruno as a 10 and Mainoo in CM - but he went with Mount who wasn't that bad. The minutes Mainoo is getting is scandalous though - we're gunna force him out of the club at this point. I'd accept it if our CM was top notch - but it's so flawed. Baffling

Ruben Amorim gets a lot of criticism for not doing enough to get his team playing, but he clearly did something in the half time interval because the difference in United in the two halves was like chalk and cheese' if we had played in the first half anything like we did in the second Palace would have been buried.

The Man Utd fan merry go round.

The question we need to ask?

Is top six good enough? No?

Is top 4?

Let’s enjoy the 1 loss in 7 win and stop over analysing every game. The season is long. The league is hard.
Yes, the league is very hard. I think there's so much money in the league that people miss the rising quality across the board.

I'm happy with the result. I'm happy for Zirkzee and Mount. The game became enjoyable for me as the second half progressed.

Palace are no slouch team. Beating them at their place was an accomplishment regardless of other circumstances.

I can't wait to see people bemoaning a Champions' League spot next year because it will keep Amorim in the job... it has almost reached Ole levels already.
