Our record from losing positions seems awful this season.

Another example of a team upping their game against us

Refs that don't know the rules

Because Falcao is Shite, it's accustom that he cannot possibly be on the end of a foul

De Gea was abysmal for their goals and created panic in our defensive line.

Mata was a disgrace.

Valencia just backed up the reason why we need a proper RB

Blind had a shocker.

Rooney didn't show up on Merseyside....AGAIN! That in itself is a joke.

Done with now so move on and hopefully bounce back against WBA

I'd say forget it and move on, but no, these players should look at how fecking woeful they were today.

We were looking at 2nd, now we're back to worrying if we can make 4th again. Just terrible.

De Gea plays like his head is already at Real Madrid.

Mata was anonymous.

Blind is just bad, and shows how important Carrick is to us. It's important that we get someone like Schneiderlin this summer.

Rooney -I'm sure that's his twin brother standing him for him during matches at Merseyside while the real Rooney fecks off to catch up with his friends.

Bad, just bad.

Second week we've struggled to create against a team that parks the bus then hits us on the counter.

Like early in the season, we had lots of possession but with little penetration. The tempo in the passing was poor, movement pretty much non-existent. Carrick has been a miss, hopefully he's back. Defensively we were really poor. DDG unusually indecisive. Valencia brainless.

Still expect us to finish top-4.

Also, Marriner is a cnut.

fecking hate Goodison, was expecting points dropped... not like that though. Shite tbh, were unlucky first half but you have to respond. We didn't, Everton deserved to win. Need to buck up for the next game.

Horrible game. LvG has a few questions to answer for this. We are a inescapably average without Carrick.

Hard to disagree but would add lets play Di Maria and drop Young and when Carrick is fit Blind goes to the bench!

No excuses today , we played piss poor and paid the price. Everton took there chances and we did not , they defended better than we did. We have players out there that a a disgrace and should not even be at the club never mind wear the shirt , Falcao I am looking at you. You bunch of useless tossers could of gone second today, but now after 2 away defeats we are again fighting for 4th place

3 pathetic, school boy defending goals conceded that we should have stopped.

1) Over committing on an early attack and leaving ourselves short. Poor tackling too.
2) 3 short corners in a row. None dealt with properly. 3rd one not dealt with at all. Great header.
3) Switching off and letting Mirallas ghost in. Nobody was aware of him. Lukaku was offside yes but it's the negligence to be aware of KM.

Fellaini's miss early on was huge. A 1v1 that you cannot afford to waste. Summed his game up; in the right place but no quality today.

Statistically Rooney had a decent game but in reality his lack of attacking movement was one of the biggest factors in our inability to get back into the game. Countless times our midfield play was slowed up because he refused to make runs and give options into space. His form is alarmingly poor and in truth has been for most of the season.

That said, we controlled most of the game and in the first half, errors aside, played good football again.

3 huge wins against Spurs, Liverpool and City have now faded into 2 losses against Chelsea and Everton and no goals scored. Poor refereeing decisions, sloppiness in defence and missing key chances in attack (Rooney, Fellaini etc) has underwritten such good form.

4th is still up for grabs. So annoying.

WBA at home next, should get back on track.
But the fitness of Carrick is key to how we finish up. Whole system breaks down without him. Missed Fellaini in the second half. Falcao was appalling. Shaw was good. Everyone else was meh.

Even if Liverpool win, we are still 4 points safe, so I'm not too worried, I feel the team were a bit complacent today. Falcao/Di Maria hasn't worked off the bench all season and Blind looked unfit. Valencia was awful today and DDG was not his usual calming presence. Disappointing, but then again our away form has been poor this season. Big game next week!

Seems we've been found out, I expect WBA to do exactly the same kind of shit as Chelsea and now those blue cnuts did. Give us ball, hit us on counter, wouldn't be surprised if we'll have the same problem as dippers did against them, odd 70% possession and feck all on the scoreline.

Just awful.

We should have been pushing on for 2nd place. Now we are back in the race for 4th.

Valenica isnt a FB. Has done a great job in filling in but long term we need a proper RB and proper back up.

Also No Carrick No party.

Yeah I was wondering why the other thread didn't have all the ratings.

Just an awful game altogether, not one stand out player.

De Gea terrible off his line today.

Valencia has done well to cover at RB but he was at fault for all 3 goals today.

Blind was average.

When was the last time Rooney had a good game?

That was shite, but the result is flattering them. One very scrappy goal. A lucky header. And a textbook offside. Still, we need a plan B for when team sit back and hit us on the counter. Everton looked very comfortable in defense today

We need to dust ourselves off and look forward. WBA at home and QPR away should be more than manageable.
