This system needs good wing backs for it to work. Antony and Malacia aren't it and never will be IMO. Amorim clearly likes Dalot and he will play most games.

Beyond that, the manager has to decide the best roles for Mount, Bruno, Mainoo, Garnacho, Amad and Rashford.

Hojlund's position as first choice striker looks clear enough. Likewise Ugarte in the midfield duo.

The defenders get injured a lot and will need to be able to plug themselves into the back 3 on a game by game basis, as and when required.

I expect Amorim to be a master of rotation both between and within games. Good coaching can achieve this by setting clear expectations and patterns of play and also developing versatile players.
