Two wins on the bounce for Ole and another United-esque performance. Not as comprehensive as the win at Cardiff as Huddersfield put up much more resistance, but we still ran out comfortable winners. Pogba's two goals after the break sealed the win, his second a trademark long range strike. That should shut up his critics for a while.

You can see the shift in mentality since Solskjaer has come in. The players are looking to attack at every opportunity, playing with a much faster tempo, taking chances. So much better to watch than what has become the norm at Old Trafford in recent years.

We still look frail defensively as Huddersfield caused us plenty of problems today, especially in the second-half and they did deserve that late consolation goal. But I think we'd all much rather see forward thinking, risk taking football.

Roll on the next match.

Man Utd 1:0 Huddersfield - Pogba (28')

Man Utd 2:0 Huddersfield - Pogba (64')

Man Utd 3:0 Huddersfield - Pogba (78')

Man Utd 3:1 Huddersfield - Jorgensen (88')

Imagine going two games without having to bring on Felliani to salvage a result. Not sure how to feel about this

Great game, great goals, Gomes having a cameo. Only poor thing is the goal conceded.

The team is finally back on track after the shite show of the previous months.

It’s nice to be a little disappointed to ‘only’ score three.

Good stuff again, nice one touch passing and positive football. Didn't get the clean sheet but the good thing is that its always been our weakness this season and now it wont get glossed over.

Much more flat. Few players looked a bit tired, eg Rashford. Spells where we looked good and confident. Few players have lots of adjusting to do. Could have used Lukaku's strength at times on the break (a confident lukaku without the touch of a leper)

Am I the only one who wasn't keen on the double substituion? A bit defensive

Started planning my weekends and social life around United games again. Ole is the David to Goliaths like Jose and LvG who keep talking about their past titles. Sometimes, keeping it simple is enough to do well.

Another game in which we tried to play football and dominate the opposition. It’s nice.

Huddersfield were actually very competitive, too. They grafted hard.

We were decent but we desperately need a mature RB and a natural, pacey RM.

Add a striker to that and next year we can expect a top3 finish.

Solid win. We can only do our part and hope the two above slip up a couple times.

Players seem extremely keen/full of energy but can't tell if this is just a new manager bounce/impress him or the norm going forward.

I did like how infuriated Pogba was when we conceded and at the end. I want our players to be perfectionists that way, get the win but then don't let standards slip

The mindset, workrate and attitude is just different and that makes all the difference.

"Virus" MOTM for me - what a complete performance!

Happy with the win but would be nice to see us keep a clean sheet in the next few games - not happened since the goalless draw vs Palace over a month ago.

Jesus, the moaning in the match day thread. I could understand it when it we were being bored to tears each week and weren’t even winning. But moaning over not keeping a clean sheet :houllier:. On the plus side, I really enjoyed that. Our games seem much more open now which is worrying, but it was worrying when we parked the bus too. At least we get a lot of goals with the new approach. Long may it continue.

Good performance again. I love how we press and move. It’s just so nice to watch attacking Football again. Pogba world class.

Obviously there are still issues we need to fix. Clean sheets being one. Lingard today was pretty invisible and didn’t offer much in attack. Our fullbacks also need more end product.

Really enjoyed that. Huddersfield put up a lot more resistance but we were pretty comfortable apart from 10 minutes in the second half. Martial was obviously a huge miss too. Pogba excellent and everyone else at least pretty good. Nice to see the attacking intent.

Watched enough United to have been sat here after playing a bottom of the table team and wondering how we didnt score any, or got beat one nil.

Huddersfield were set up to frustrate, it didnt really work, they are a big side and we switched off on a couple of set pieces.

That really is the top and the bottom of it, a comfortable result.

Well if we want another quick Jose comparison: even if he'd started Pogba today, very unlikely, you can bet as soon as Huddersfield started knocking on the door in the second half he'd have hooked him off for Fellaini/Herrera/Bailly. And we'd have ended up 1-1 or worse. Not a great performance today but came away with exactly the sort of result you expect United to get after a mediocre home game against cannon fodder.

Rashford looked very tired towards the end, as did Shaw after he got that knock. Lingard had a really poor game. Also with no Martial we didn't really have the pace to be stretching them on either flank.

3-0 would have flattered us. It was nervy up until Pogba scored the second. Most importantly a win and no fresh injury concerns.

Routine home win. We’re learning a bit about the team, some are showing what they have, and with more stability, it’s also becoming clearer where we need to improve.

Overall another good performance. I actually preferred the 1st half to the 2nd half. Why? Because we gave them nothing. 2nd half we let them get back into it a bit. Still onwards and upwards . Pogba was a different class. What a player

We can actually attack and we're not too bad at it. Who knew?

Phil Jones needs binning ASAP, the man is utter crap. Our other defenders aren't much better either.
