Hopefully this is the turning point for Pogba , I have been saying all season that he shows zero leadership qualities. And that was true, until today that is.

Saturday week in Cup V Spurs is the next big real one , need to see him carry that 2nd half form into that.

What a roller coaster of emotion. Was disgusted with the team at half time but the response from the players was incredible. Shows me that they give a damn. Such an entertaining match in the 2nd half. GET THE feck IN!!

The find out a lot about individuals and teams when in adversity. As soon as we made this a brawl rather than technical battle, we looked more than equal. That entire 90 should show people that playing City at their own game is asinine. You rough them up, unsettle them, play direct and aggressive.

Brilliant win, and this is a marker for next season, no mistake. They ain't the invincibles after all.

Look, we do have serious problems. Especially I don't get why we often play one half well and one half really poorly. Just need to iron out that consistency to be a serious force, and it does not just mean buying players. Tactics, or mentality or whatever, just be focused throughout the 90.

BUT, one thing Jose's brought back is character and fight. We have come back after trailing against Chelsea and City, two tough teams to beat. Pogba was a different player in the second half, the player we thought we were buying. So hopefully we gain that consistency next season in addition to our newfound mentality.

Unbeaten at the Etihad for last 3 seasons with 2 wins and a draw, pretty good stuff.

Mou must have broken into Pep’s medicine cabinet during ht!

No but in all seriousness, how do we like Pogba now? Thought he was very good, besides the goals even. Undeserved win, and it somehow makes it even sweeter for me:D Soooooo pumped!

Very impressed with the turnaround led by Pogba. Evertone decided it was time to start playing! Love that there was some controversy as well. This will be very hard to take for City even tough they'll be champions.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ander Herrera should be an automatoc starter now. His assist for Pogbas first was sublime. If City scored that the pundits wouldnt shut up about it.

That will probably be one of my favorite United memories of all time :
  • City players pissed
  • Crowd who probably all thought they were there to watch a title celebration deflated
  • Kompany and Guardiola's mindgames not working
  • Aguero not getting a penalty for a change
  • Pogba showing the middle finger to his critics
  • DDG showing again he truly is a demi God with that header save at the end
  • Herrera being a massive prick (feel conflicted about that one but at least he was our prick)
  • I saw a team again

UTD! I am not fond of the Glazers.
What an roller coaster of a game. Unbelievable shite in the first period and then some lovely moments. Dont know what to say other than that its nice to win City. We have to be more consistent though. Maybe some day.

Ps. Ashley Young. Has to be replaced.

Pity this was not the champions league final or something because it would have been beautiful.

This should teach you not to turn the game off before half time.
Tuned back in, was sitting there depressed downing beers and watching Bering Sea Gold, then all the sudden the textmessages started coming in.

The best thing is we are pretty sure to finish second, 4 points above Liverpool with a game in hand.

No earliest title win for city.
Hopefully no greatest points tally, they won't win against spurs next week.
No Talk of biggest title win against rival bla bla bla.
and we are 13 points from first, likely to stay the same or decrease when we look at the remaining fixtures of each team.

That's the kind of fight we've been wanting to see. Why do we have to wait until we're behind until we actually have a go?

City by far the better team on the day and over the season, but we showed today that we have some fight in us and that we can get there with this group of players

That was special. Iconic second half performance. Nature of that win made it even sweeter.

Pogba proved that if his head is right and if you protect him tactically he can be a match winner on big occasion and Sanchez was brilliant in the second half.. did he get three assists??

Just because you have a dodgy backline does not mean you can not attack. Attitude and approach can cover many flaws, that is how Liverpool find success with their mediocre squad, it is the key reason why Fergie had success with some average players. Stop waiting for the perfect team.

Great result.

I just wish we could start with that sort of intensity and attacking intent.

I loved that...but we were very lucky in all honesty. City could and should have buried us first half.

Rewarded for being positive. We started ok without really threatening but we pressed high and tried to take the game to them and then fell apart once they got the opener and they could've(should've) been out of sight by half time. Second half was great to see, we really kept going and while we rode our luck at times it was nice to see us continue to push up when we could and in the end I think we've got a lot to be proud about.
