Manchester City run out winners and it's a big result for them in the title race. We had the better of the first-half without really troubling Ederson. City were much brighter in the second-half and once Bernardo Silva scored the opening goal after 54 minutes they took control. Sane struck the second-half on 66 minutes and that was that.

For us, it's another massive blow to our chances of making the top 4. Arsenal lost tonight but we didn't take advantage. A win over Chelsea on Sunday will potentially still keep us in the race but we will be dependent on Arsenal dropping more points.

Nobody seems to want fourth place this season so anything could still happen...

Man Utd 0:1 Man City - Bernardo Silva (54')

Man Utd 0:2 Man City - Sane (54')

I hate watching football at the moment. Very sad. City are a major power now. No longer noisy neighbours.

Great result for the title race.

Top four still on, just have to win the last 3 and I reckon odds are we'll finish 4th. Hahaha, "just". With this squad. Ha. :(

Less said about De Gea, Young, Fred, Lingard, Smalling, Pereira, Martial and Lukaku the better.

The guys turned up and gave it a shot that’s all you can ask. Lingard scores or De Gea acts competently and maybe we might have been able to get something.

Our play in the final third is absolutely infuriating. It's like we don't work on attacking patterns at all. The movement, passing, and performance level we get from 6+ players on over 100k a week is absolutely abysmal.

In the history of football, has there been a set of attacking players (Lukaku, Sanchez, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Rashford etc) who offer as little as they do, for the amount we pay them? I'm genuinely intrigued. We're getting mugged off day in, day out.

We're the huddersfield of big clubs.

Would be amazed if it's not more of the same next year.

This just highlighted our lack of fitness, lack of team cohesion and lack of quality up front.

Pool must be happy.
They tried so hard and got so far. But in the end, it doesn't even matter.

Feck off Liverpool. We're shit and we know we are. But at the end of the day, we'll both end up trophyless.

Meh, one day we’ll be the cream of the crop again. Hate how far off it seems though. Few bang on signings this Summer and things can change quickly. This Summer is massive.

Obertans #1 fan.
Good game from us. Thought we showed a bit of fight there.

If you miss an open goal and your keeper fecks up, you lose against City. Simple as.

Shitty a much better side. We need major changes.

This proves SAF was correct to let Pogba go, he needs to go again.

Solskjaer now doing the same as Mourinho, dropping players and snubbing them, but the result is still the same. Whatever the combination, the squad is just lacking quality. A big big summer for Ole to rebuild this awful squad.

I feel deflated, I am and I am not bothered. We are miles away from city one shot on target all match and we was at home.

City miles ahead. Better effort from the lads. Ole got some sort of reaction at least, we just don’t have the quality.
