You say Ole's main failure is not rotating, then say what you would do against Young Boys is field:
Ronaldo Cavani
Fernandes
Pogba Fred Vdb
Shaw Maguire Varane Awb
Ddg
My point is if that's rotation then Ole has excelled at it.
Perhaps I was a bit unclear or confusing.
Going all the way back to his first few months in charge, Ole has not rotated enough. Remember the Liverpool game when we lost several players to injury in the space of something like 20 minutes? It's been the same pattern ever since, for instance last season he flogged Rashford, Maguire and Fernandes. I have maintained this criticism of his management in spite of consistently having been and still being Ole In.
And the starting eleven I suggested above is not intended to be heavy rotation IMO, nor should it be. It's still early in the season plus it's an important game so no need to rotate heavily. If you rotate slightly throughout the season the need for heavy rotation later is reduced.
Heavy rotation would mean something like I would suggest for the FAC and LC games:
Elanga Greenwood Sancho
Mejbri
Matic Vdb
Telles Bailly Lindelof Dalot
Ddg
3 subs: Mata, Lingard, Jones
...
However, I'm now reading reports that Cavani is out for tomorrow and if so I would change my team selection to this:
Ronaldo
Pogba Fernandes Sancho
Fred Vdb
Shaw Maguire Varane Awb
Ddg
Subs:
- Greenwood for Ronaldo
- Martial for Pogba
- Lingard for Fernandes
- Dalot for Awb or Shaw
- Lindelof for Maguire
Mejbri, Elanga and Bailly hopefully getting minutes in the next game.
