Business as usual. The outcome would have been the same if the match counted for anything.

Claude Puel got hit in the face with a football while 22 players stood and watched.

Romero man of the match, for sure.

The match felt like a preseason friendly in a lot of ways. Nothing game with nothing depending on it for either team. All eyes are on Wednesday.

Got more than what we came for. A point and a confidence boost for Romero.

Wasn't a team out there, a bunch of individuals. None of whom, by the way, know how to make runs off the ball and behind their defence.

An irrelevant results, but having won the less amount of games than ever before is just downright awful.

Fantastic we didn't concede a goal. I said before our ability to beat Ajax depends on us able to soak up their attack.

Ajax can't defend and a clean sheet makes me more confident, 2-0 to united in the final.

Pretty dull as expected. Good that Jones and Smalling kept a clean sheet, makes me slightly more confident for next week.

I really don't understand what this style of 'football' is trying to achieve.

Romero was excellent.

Who gives feck how we played? No one got injured. Good job. I barely paid attention let alone complain how we were playing.

Great performance from Sergio to warm-up for the EL final. Other than that, typical story of the season, with us being completely toothless in attack. In fairness, playing with Fellaini AND Rooney sometimes feels like you're playing with 9 players rather than 11.

We do need to work on our attacking plays next season, because there was absolutely zero chemistry, cohesion or a plan of attack. Sometimes it feels like Jose is so obsessed with eliminating the opposition's threat that he forgets to tell his players how to attack their defence.

Also given the insignificance of the game, we should've started more youngsters, which I'm guessing Jose is saving up for the game v Crystal Palace.

Season was finished in the league long before this game so meh - can't wait for the EL final.
