Can't win them all. Unlucky with losing a player for absolutely no reason of our own.
Southampton not undeserving of a draw.

Looked very tired.

Took off Pogba and Fernandes when the game needed another goal (I understand they need resting).

Wasteful on the ball going forward, Obafemi should never be scoring from a corner, terrible marking.

Palace and Westham are must wins now, and a result needs to be gotten from Leicester.

Rubbish performance and everything went against us.
Win our next three and we’re in the top four, simple as that isn’t it?
Everyone saying we’re definitely not getting it need to calm down and get a beer or something.
If we don’t win the next three we don’t deserve it, but we should win the next three if we’re a serious team.

Bit of a sickener but Southampton did play well. We'd have seen that out if we finished with 11.

Cue some serious cryw*nking from some of the posters on here. A strange one, some players like Martial Shaw and Matic seemed to be absolutely flying, moreso than usual, and others really look quite tired.

After beating 3 of the worst teams in the league we thought we are getting better. Nope, we are still shite.

Got to keep perspective - we've been great since the restart and this reality check will hopefully ensure any creeping complacency is shattered.

Southampton played really well - but really they should have been down to 10 men in the first half and we had the chances to end them.

No panic. Crystal Palace and West Ham are shite and in a one off game with Leicester I back us everytime.

We needed to kill them off. Some sexy football but Martial and Rashford had chances to score the third. Things went against us, the injury to Brandon and Romeu’s stonewall red card.

Fair play Southampton. Fought like crazy and brought an energy and quality we couldn't match at the end.

We lost intensity and and also we did not show the clearheads and desire to keep hold of the ball and take the sting out of the game.

We were hanging on quite frankly.

Woeful. Predictable, but woeful. Shoot ourselves in the foot yet again.

Bruno had an awful game. Maybe tired in the second half. Where was our midfield. Pogba also awful.

We couldn't string two pases together in the last 30 minutes. How are we going to defend a lead against Madrid,Barca if we end up in the CL but cannot do it against Southampton.

Gutted but we didnt play well.

Southampton were disgrace too. Absolute shithouse pointless team trying to injure our players with numerous late challenges.

Fair enough the players looked knackered, but dunno why we brought James on when the physicality of the game was screaming for Ighalo. We couldn’t keep the ball for more than 5 seconds in the last 10 mins. Yet again it just makes you question Ole’s in game management.

Wake up call to those who think we will challenge next year.

If Bruno or Pogba have off days our midfield is nowhere near good enough.

Back to the same old. Back to 2019. Conceding at the 96th. Pathetic.

Loved the reaction after the 0-1, but that's about it. Horrible second half.

Southampton were really good they pressed and pressed when we had the ball and never let us settle.. and we looked unsettled. we had the chances to win but didnt take them.
Overall you have to say fair result.
It was a fair result, but we were very unlucky to be down to ten men.

Conceding on set pieces has been our weakness, and still continues to be. Those are massive points dropped.

We are now under pressure going to crystal palace, which is not an easy place historically for us.

Unfortunate to play with 10 at the end. Romeu should've been off.

I hate when we try this sit back and soak up pressure thing. fecking hate it.

As soon as Bruno went off I said they would equalise. IMO dreadful subs by OGS, we needed the third goal. A blind person could see Southampton would get a goal from somewhere. It's fine to rest the players when we're comfortably winning but we clearly weren't this time around.

Really bad performance, no doubt about it. Like many times in post-SAF era, when the pressure is up, we totally shit it.

AWB and Pogba were poor. Fernandez and Greenwood were non-existent, Rashford and Martial were quite good.

We can still do it but it is gonna be hard. Need to either defeat Leicester on the final match or outscore them in the next two matches. It does not look that good, probably the other two teams have higher chances than us to make it.

FAO: everyone who’s made a post along the lines of “do we really need Sancho” recently.

Yes. Yes we do.

That was a tired and poor performance, and really shows how we need a stronger squad to support the “first” XI.

We're not going to be in the Champions League next season. The trend is exactly the same as a year ago: every time we have a chance to get one over our rivals, when the pressure is on - because they dropped points -, we absolutely and utterly bottle it. If Chelsea and Leicester keep dropping points, so will we.

Dreadful performance. Only Martial and Rashford deserve credit. Most of the second half we looked like playing with 10 men against 2009 Barcelona.
That's a really poor mentality.

Tough one to take that. They should have had a red and we had chances to kill the game.

Just win the rest and im confident we will finish 3rd.

Pathetic defending, complacent behaviour. Martial was brilliant today, Rashford good and Greenwood kept quiet. Pogba was lazy and poor, bruno made some strange decisions and matic looked tired. Calamity defending again from lindeloff and maguire and awb didn't do much better. 4th is still in our hands but i saw heads drop at the whistle. Pathetic from the boys, i thought we had built some mental strength. Palace away next which is always tough, west ham at home and they will fight to the death and Leicester away. It looks tight.
