Honestly? If we didn't have Lammens in goal, we don't win that. He didn't pull any incredible heroics, but he had a couple of good saves and was very confident and competent for crosses. The difference having a competent keeper makes! Maybe if we'd started him earlier, we'd have more points!

Good first half, mediocre second half. Sunderland looked pretty ordinary throughout.

A good debut for Lammens and I thought Amad was a good and has to start at RWB. I don't think we learned all that much from today.

Even with Lammens, while it was positive, he didn't have to do much, in a way the perfect debut but let's see how he does in his next games.

Solid first half. Struggled in the second half but at no point did I feel like Sunderland were going to score. Overall, quite a comfortable game which is a rarity.

Stand outs were Lammens, Amad and Mount for me.

Three changes were all correct decisions. Maguire for Yoro should be a permenant change now, absolutely zero reason to go back to Maguire. We've got our no. 1 keeper and Mount is the glue that makes the whole system work. His legs basically cover a lot of the issues with the two man midfield, and free Bruno up a bit to be the more creative playmaker he's suited to being.

Maino was too casual in the Sunderland chance which keeper saved. Ugarte/maino midfield is very weak. Good win and should have scored more. Just highlights that midfield even more when subs are considered.
