It reminded me of a SAF reaction to a heavy defeat, keep it tight and then grab a goal (or two).

Good performance all things considered. Was so important to keep that clean sheet or I think we would have crumbled so DDG was important.

Really happy for Sancho. Looking better and better.

That was nice and disciplined.

That performance won't fly at Old Trafford in the long term, but for a European away game, it was great.

Important night for Sancho, bad first half and much better second, players already looked like they cared about tactical instructions. Great and very important win, happy days

Amongst footballing managerial 'Gods'
Carrick at the wheel. Just kidding, hopefully we aren't that dumb this time. Good result, but our football is still bland. This team is quality and needs a manager that can coach. Hopefully, Carrick can be a good interim until Pochettino or ten hag in the summer

Good result. Not a bad performance, tough team away from home so credit to Carrick and the lads.

Adequate.
Wasn't a good performance but we had some basic element of organisation and balance and thats all thats needed for these players to beat most teams.

Can we now play a couple of youth players in the final group game or would you play a strong side to get 1st place in the group? Not suggesting a full 11 of them (obviously) but certainly some experienced fringe players + some kids to give them a chance at first team football.

That’s a good game, very good start for Carrick

Again, Ronaldo is our saviour.

Very happy Sancho got his first goal, his best game in United shirt.

We actually press, and of all people, the pressing is lead by Ronaldo…

We keep a clean sheet too, we’ll done De Gea.

Fresh air and new ideas/energy. Predictable. We'll see if it continues.

Ole had to go.

Subs at the right time, using the squad depth properly and clearly having an idea, albeit a basic one, of sitting in until about 60mins. This squad under to top coach will crucify teams.

Very happy for Sancho
