Well we got there in the end and another important away win. That was probably a more nervy victory than it should have been. We were well in control at half-time but Watford's goal gave them renewed belief and we were hanging on towards the end.

Would be nice if we could be more clinical with our counter-attacks. So many wasted opportunities and it's not the first time we've been like that in games.

Credit to our defence, Smalling, Lindelof and Fellaini did really well in the face of a lot of Watford pressure. After that disastrous defensive display at Brighton we look a lot more solid at the back. And of course, there were a few epic saves from De Gea in there too!

    Up to eight, wooh!

    Watford 0:1 Man Utd - Lukaku (34')

    Watford 0:2 Man Utd - Smalling (37')

    Watford 1:2 Man Utd - Gray (65')

Ugly win but will take it.

    Sanchez is a gigantic bust.

    Pay whatever De Gea asks.

Credit to Watford. Outclassed for most of the match but when we couldn't finish our chances never gave up. Fellaini incredible, just everywhere. Bit more effort from pogba. One good moment from sanchez but disappointment otherwise. Young incredible. Martial worrying

Made really hard work of what was a comfortable game. We must keep the intensity up for 90 minutes, after taking the lead we play as if we’ve already won.

Very good first half. Ugly second half performance.

Should’ve been more ruthless on the counter.

Another great DDG save to add to the list.

Great first half, pretty shite second one.

I don't think Watford created much to deserve anything though.

    Fellaini and Smalling MOTM.

Shit second half. A moment of idiocy from Matic at the end.

Got bit ugly after their goal but it's a good win. Should've had more than just two in the first half I feel, Foster's done a great job.

Nah, just the ref being exhausted and getting carried away. Dozens of harder challenges this match.

Good first half, meh second. We had a couple of chances to finish the game in the second and we didn't take them.

We're just so fecking uninspiring. Coasting at half time and we end up clinging on for dear life. Just so sloppy in the second half.

Encouraging game but we should have blitzed them in the first half. Same old indeed.

Against better strikers + a high press on Fellaini, we will be in trouble.
