Gonna suggest this again. Two match day threads. One for the slightly positive and above. The other for the rest.

Terrible refereeing. First half was decent IMV. Played with commitment. Second half was a bit all over the place from both teams and especially the ref who should most definitely have sent off Noble (who will escape further punishment because of that stupid rule that refs' decisions can't be overruled).

Shaw played well in that first half as did McTominay. Pogba's shooting a bit awful and he needs to stop being a pussy, then he can really blossom.

Absolutely dire. Not much better than LVG's last months.

The match day thread was more entertaining. Some proper funny and creative posts. Top work lads, made me laugh.

2nd confirmed. I sincerely hope it’s significantly better to watch next season....
No chance.

Mourinho doesn't know how to do that. He'll place the blame on young players who struggle because they're not getting the right coaching.

Shockingly dull performance from a team managed by a man who I can only assume collects photographs of telephone polls as a hobby.

The players and Mourinho should all be ashamed of themselves imo. Absolutely zero respect to the matchgoing fans, complete waste of everyone’s time.

didnt even bother to record this game given how poor the mid week fixtures have been for United. 2nd place clinched, now let Carrick and some of the kids start at OT and rest starters for the FA Cup.

Only just got home from work. Judging by this thread, seems like that worked out for the best for me

We never looked like scoring at any point. If Martial is leaving it's vital that we buy someone that can actually beat a man and make something happen.

We are no where near competing with City next season.

How this squad has finished 2nd in the league is a mystery even scooby doo coudnt solve.
It begs the question, is Jose a genius to get 2nd place with this shower or....has the fact that De Gea is God helped us?

I can’t imagine Mourinho ever saying ‘and remember lads, enjoy yourself’.

So dull.

Didn't even bother to watch the game, went out with the wife and the baby for a nice evening walk instead.

Winning matters, so on to winning the FA cup please. Every player should be motivated to play themselves into the starting eleven for that game. But they aren't since they've given up on Mourinho and his tactics.

The numbers show improvement, but we're not winning many neutrals over playing like that.

Good easy point. 2nd place secured!

No need to risk injuries before FA Cup and World cup.

Boring game but with the above, happy with it!

fecking hell. That was something.
Can't imagine how an opposition fan survived that  I mean even for those of us who are invested in the team it was still a dreadful experience, but to watch it for the entertainment!

Played shite again. Shocker.

Don't even know why I tried to be optimistic before the game.

Shaw and Valencia were pretty much playing as full backs, rarely got forward.

Worst thing is I bet Mourinho's delighted with that result.

Noble is a herpetic ulcer of a human being. That is all I have taken from this game.

Second place cemented. That's all that matters.

nobles reaction was over the top but that was a snide little foul from pogba.

roll on next season, this is tedious
