Woeful end product from Sanchez. Time he was "rested". We now have quality and pace on the LHS from Shaw. On the RHS we have Valencia - his time is up. He's filling that spot until Dalot is bedded in. I'm sick of Valencia stopping, checking and passing sideways or backwards, taking the safe option as opposed to attacking their fullback and providing a cross. The front three are reluctant to run the channels. When Rom did, he beat the fullback/CB easily to cross - but who was in the box? Having two holders in the middle releases Pogba, but only if he has movement to pass to. He didn't. Personally I'd have Fred and Matic, with Herrera a replacement. Too slow and methodical, with little movement when it mattered to chase the win. Lump-ball to Fellaini is pathetic. Shame on Jose for that tactic. We are looking more and more like a 1980s United team - a bunch of individuals. To Wolves' credit they were well drilled and quickly got in to a bank of 4 and 5 to defend, when they lost the ball. They will take points off teams this season, but FFS we should have beaten them! The team and performances are just not good or consistent enough. The 3-0 flattering win over Berne didn't help either.

Wolves are a tidy team but that was unacceptable. MUFC should be tooling teams of Wolves' calibre at Old Trafford.

It's not even October and we're resigned to no title challenge......that is downright appalling, for a club of our stature, a manager of Jose's reputation and a team that has spent around £300million on the starting 11. Absolutely unacceptable.

We are an abysmal football team. We are lacking in so many aspects and we have too many bang average passengers in our squad who are contributing nothing to taking us forward.

Anyone not wearing the red-tinted glasses knew we were nowhere near good enough to actually challenge for the title. But to be 8pts off the top in fecking SEPTEMBER is disgraceful. We aren't getting top 4 this year, I guarantee it. We'll finish somewhere from 5th - 8th and we might sneak a domestic cup. Nothing more than that.

Jose will be gone in the summer and the new manager will come in and not know where to start in terms of moulding his own squad.

As a Wolves fan, I've been loving the praise my team have been getting since the weekend. It might be a bit over the top though, as we did only draw a game where you played poorly. Better sides would have punished you but we are still learning.

Positives for you are De Gea being just amazing and Fred taking his goal well and looking promising all round. Pogba looked very good also, despite giving the ball away for our goal. But he had nothing happening in front of him, so he can't be held solely responsible for that really.

Negatives are Sanchez looking like he's done in and that you resorted to hoof-ball in the last 5 minutes when looking for a winner. It looked like you were the newly promoted side! I never thought I'd see that sort of thing from a Man United team.

One of the best moments of the entire day though was SAF returning to Old Trafford. Even as a Wolves fan, it was a goose-bumps moment!

Fair result today
Considering the way we played and the way Wolves played, yes, it was fair.....to us. Manchester United should not be grimly hanging on against any team at Old Trafford, let alone a newly promoted team. City crushed Carlisle while we, thanks to David De Gea, were fortunate to scrape a draw. God knows what SAF made of it, Im surprised he didn't have a relapse! The way this seasons panning out we'll struggle to finish top 4. Till now I believed we should stick with Mourinho, but its clear that he cannot get the players to perform, but to be honest which manager would? Our club is overloaded with wannabes, never weres and has beens, from the board down to the players and a major overhaul of the entire club is needed to take us back to the upper echelons of the game; but where do we find another Alex Ferguson and David Gill to carry this out? All the while we struggle along with Woodward and Mourinho the gap between us and City, Liverpool and Chelsea widens, not to mention the Europeans. The longer we leave it, the harder it will be; if Zinedine Zidane is the only real quality manager available and we should grab him before somebody else does and replace Woodward at the same time, give Zidane full reign to clear out the deadwood and buy the sort of players Manchester Uniteds stature demands!

We don't have many special players anymore, down the years we have had 8-9 top players in most teams. We only have the goalie now and Pogba.
Lukaku is a big lad in the Bob Latchford mould and can be good on his day..
