Post-season matches in Asia

The manner in which Chido picked up the ball from the net without scoring after his first senior goal for us suggest that he is eager to impress and that he knows how humiliating the last two weeks have been for Utd. Can't say the same for some of the other senior players who know no shame.

Didn't Jose go ballistic at the state of the pitches when he took United on a Far East tour?

It was his first preseason with us. Match was supposed to be in Beijing at the Bird Nest Stadium, against Pep's City. I had tickets but match was cancelled.

@Devil_forever

Oh and as for the claim that my 200 quid tickets must have been exec seats. We were in the uncovered South Stand behind the goal. Got absolutely drenched. Exec seats my arseNAL.

some of our senior players have got "civil servant" mentality: "I just come to collect wages and do my bare minimum, I don't care how the team/country performs".

obvious examples are Sancho & Rashford (loaned) Lindelof and Shaw.

He's technically supposed to be an attacking player, and while the Asian games hold no real importance, his lack of ability even in comparison to the opposition is worrying. I just hope he's still a bit "deer in headlights" and after a break and a pre-season, he'll settle
Don't forget ge I'd only 20. I seem to recall Evra had a difficult start

Did anyone see Hojlund’s horrendous first touch when Bruno set him up for a near open net? Jesus Christ.

Chido was vastly superior in this game. Night and day. Loan out Rasmus and keep Chido.

I think that is overplayed. Utd this season were making more tackles than any other team in Europe, that doesn't suggest a lack of commitment or effort, especially given the physical limitations of the squad. I don't think it is a lazy group, but they are slow in key areas and lack key technical qualities. They have also for 2 years either been playing in an insane no midfield set up that exposed the lack of legs in the team or trying to play a system they are unfamiliar with and is unsuited to their skillset and capabilities.

Maybe with a rash of new signings we will see the Amorin system fly but it was never going to work with this squad.

Who watched Beckham’s interview regarding our players on tour? During the champions league final

I think our team works hard and show they care.

I never saw it. What did he say?

David Beckham on the players' behavior during the post-season tour:

"I don't like seeing what's happening at the club. It's true that it's the pitch that matters, but I see a lot of things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and a lover of Man United. You have to represent the crest. I've seen a lot of things where players didn't act in the right way.

We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant.

Everywhere we traveled, whether in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or to take pictures. You have to respect that."

He's talking about the flipping of the bird right?

Cheers for the share. Hard to argue with any of that really.

Did Becks ever scold Cantona for that Kung Fu kick?

Are we doing this because of adidas shafting us due to no Europe / CL again ?
Something, something about our sponsors Tezos, Apollo, Maybank and Snapdragon too.

We need the income stream when we don't qualify for Europe

Some of our members here (i.e. a portion of our fans) seems to be okay with our players acting childish, lazy and disrespectful, while at the same time wonder why we are in the state we are.

Pretty scathing article in the Guardian about the tour. Hard to disagree with much of it.

Very hard to disagree.

Especially when you neither post a link nor quote it
