Keen to see who people think are the best players at the mid-sized and smaller clubs. I'm using the label Big Six to denote Liverpool, Citeh, United, Chelsea, Arsenal Leicester and Spurs, despite the present state of the league table.

EDIT: Leicester now designated as a member of the Big Six in place of arsenal, because Arsenal are as shite and lacking in imagination as the first few replies.

The entire Leicester team and Richarlison/Zaha instead of Barnes/Perez.

Yeap, the base would be the Leicester starting XI with maybe Henderson, a couple of Wolves players and Grealish thrown in the mix. Ignore Leicester and it gets more interesting.

I didn't post a team in the OP because I haven't watched anywhere near enough football this season to know who to pick.

The first two repliers haven't either, you can tell.

It's alright to admit it lads. We all have lives, and things to do.

On form+ability this season of what Ive seen. Maybe not the best formation but theyd score a lot:

Guaita
Doherty - Mings - Dunk - Willems
Cantwell - Lundstram - Grealish
Maupay - Ings - Jimenez

This looks like a solid team from what I've read (like I said, I haven't actually watched enough this season). Didn't know too much about a couple of them, had to wiki the names which is something I never had to do when I watched more football. Ings has been in unreal form this season.

Sounds like a good team, although I noticed while browsing the Everton forum today that they've all turned on Digne for his performances this season. Apparently suffering a serious dip in form.

Fantasy. Sheff has been ok, and so has he, but nothing spectactular. There has been better players for sure.
Have there?

He's been very good - as have the entire Sheff Utd team really.

I mean so far this season the only teams that have been good that aren't top 6 + Leicester are Brighton, Palace, Wolves and Sheffield United... and arguably Newcastle. So really any team will mostly have to come from players from those sides... bar Jack Grealish.

Players I've noticed:

??????

??????----??????----??????----??????

Traore-Moutinho-Torreira-Grealish

Ings----Aubameyang

No idea on back five really. Assume Digne and Ake, but haven't noticed them much this season. Zaha could make the cut too.

Ings the standout for me. Would love to have him back.

Has Lundstram been that good or is it a fantasy football thing?
He's been a solid performer from what Ive seen. The whole Sheffield United team has been good and played like a team - deservedly in the upper half. A bit strange Ravel Morrison never get minutes there though.

Yeah, this 100%

Was fantastic up front with Sturridge pre-injury, and I thought he'd soon turn into Klopp's favourite player after Rodgers got sacked

Glad he's salvaged his career now

On current form I wouldnt have anyone from Arsenal, they, like Spurs and us, have been woeful. Id go something like this.

-----------------------------Pickford-----------------------------
---Pereira---------Soyuncu------------Tarkowski---------Digne--
--------------------------------------Ndidi------------------------
--------------Grealish---------------------------------------------
-----Traore----------------Maddison------------------Buendia----

---------------------------Jimenez--------------------------------

Digne could easily be Chilwell, I feel it is close between them, McGinn worth a shout over Ndidi, Ings if he could stay fit for more than a couple months.

With Leicester as a top 6 side I would say. Picking some wingbacks here as fullbacks though just cause it is hard to ignore Sheffield and Wolves.

Leno
Doherty Coady Dunk Stevens
Moutinho Fleck
Grealish Richarlison
Ings Aubameyang

Both him and Fleck have been pretty good for them in attack and also helping the defense a lot. Although players like Neves and Moutinho are better, but not sure they have had better seasons.

Think Henderson, O’Connell/Egan, Stevens and Fleck are in with a shout but could just be me being biased

Henderson
Doherty Soyuncu O’Connell Stevens
Fleck McGinn
Adama Grealish Zaha
Vardy

If I'm to go by points in premierleague.com's fanatasy league and forget the fact that they have Lundstrom listed as a defender (has a defender ever worn the #7?) my team would look like this:

---------------------------------Henderson(tied with Ryan)----------------------------------
Baldock--------------Stevens---------------Dunk-----------------------Doherty
------------------------Contwell------------Moutinho------------------------------
Traore------------------------Graelish-----------------------Zaha (tied with Ward-Prowse)
---------------------------------Ings-----------------------------------

It should be Aubamayang in the striker position but I refuse to keep Arsenal out of the "big 6". Mind you, I've also excluded all Leicester players. I've also kept Lundstrom out because he's been getting extra points for clean sheets seeing as they have him listed as a defender...
