You're wrong but I'm not derailing the thread any more.
I’m not wrong. Serious gamblers aren’t tying up funds on a 9 to 1 shot for a bet could come good in 9 months time. They don’t want their money tied up like that especially at a time when there’s literally nothing to analyse or work off of.
its simply not true. You’ll see more movement in the first 3 weeks of the season than the last 3 months between seasons combined for a reason.

If they thought that 9/1 shot was actually a 1/1 shot by their analysis then they definitely would be tying up large amounts of money. If the odds move in their favour like you suggest, (eg. We are 5/1 after the first 3 games) they can 'cash out'.

Think Chelsea are gonna go all in this summer, bringing in Lukaku, Koundé and some squad players.

What does all of that have to do with liking/disliking a team or player?
Well any minor inconvenience is classed as a crisis at Utd. There’s so many Utd fans and so many people who hate Utd, that impacts the narratives and perceptions.

On the whole, looks like we’re nailed on a familiar fifth! I struggle to see why so many have Spurs anywhere on their lists! They are a mess.
They are but what other options are there?

Arsenal are in just as big a mess, have a worse manager and squad
West Ham only got where they did last season due to Lingard's form and they seemingly won't pay up to keep him
Leeds I expect to have a bit of second season syndrome
Everton have downgraded their manager and only signed some midtable journeymen
Villa are now without Grealish

Even without Kane I think Spurs are the best of the rest and should get the coveted 6th spot

If Kane stays and is arsed, swap Spurs and Leicester.

Villa, West Ham and Everton could all push top 6 I think but only at the expense of Arsenal. The rest I think are nailed on.

I firmly believe that Chelsea will struggle this season, despite their squad.

I expected them to do better domestically last season, and they underperformed. But they surely will be more formidable with a Champions League win under their belt and with the addition of Lukaku (who gives them another way to play), you don't think they'll challenge?

If City get Kane they could realistically break the 100pts barrier again.

Same as last season I reckon. If Spurs lose Kane then there's a slight chance someone else could beat them to 6th.
That wasn't the top 6 last season though.
