I expected them to do better domestically last season, and they underperformed. But they surely will be more formidable with a Champions League win under their belt and with the addition of Lukaku (who gives them another way to play), you don't think they'll challenge?
Just a punt. Lately they seem to underperform the very next season after getting a major sucess. And then being Chelsea, the focus is quickly shifted towards the manager.

Tuchel's own hard taskmaster personality will only make things worse, as the culture amongst Chelsea players is to quickly turn on their manger, once things don't go well.

I'd Kevin Keegan love it if we made top 6. I hope we finish above Arsenal at the very least, they look a right mess.

If City get Kane, I think they will be difficult to stop. I also think Chelsea looks scary, but we'll have to wait and see if Lukaku strikes.
The potential is huge in the Chelsea squad.

I dont think Liverpool will have a great season.

Chelsea
United
City
Liverpool
Leicester
Arsenal

Any reason why Arsenal finish 4th and ahead of Chelsea? They have barely strengthened.

1. City 90+ pts
2. Chelsea 80-85 pts
3. United 75-80 pts
4. Pool 75-80 pts
...
...
5. Leicester (65-70 pts)
6. Spurs (65-79 pts)

Any chance we can make this into separate polls to see what the Caf hivemind believes before the season starts?

Well Andrew Robertson is in injured which is good news for us.

City with their insane spending you always have to put them top but I believe that we are capable losing only 1 or 2 games which will put us up there.

For me too difficult to predict a top 6.

4. United

First is a given I guess, the rest can interchange, but no chance any other team breaks the top four this season. I would bet my house on this to be fair.

5. Leicester
6. Tottenham

I would love for Aston Villa to do very well as I like them, but they aren’t anywhere near replacing what Grealish leaves behind - and odds are players like Bailey will struggle to make a mark in his first season. Buendia is a good player, but again, will he make the role his in the short-term? Arsenal are going to have yet another shit season, they just aren’t equipped and their best players are mentally gone from the fight before it starts. Everton also going to struggle.

The gap between top 4 and the rest has probably never been bigger.

Places 2-4 could go either way, but generally speaking I would really be surprised to see any other team in the top 4.
Unfortunately I cannot see anyone stopping City from defending the title.
Arsenal will improve and finish 7th.
Bayern to win the CL.

At least this year we don't have people predicting we won't finish top 4 like this time last year. Progress

Will have to wait and see if Kane leaves. Chelsea and United could have a chance if he stays at Spurs and Chelsea and our new signings do really well.

We play like we did against Everton and no one will catch us. Lukaku has the first touch of a donkey but will still help Chelsea get points. City have so many options available its difficult to keep them all happy. No striker either will be hard for them this season.
Liverpool are done, had a couple of good seasons but the team is aging and on the decline and have lost wijnaldum and not replaced him.

Villa look good and reckon they will do well this season, some very good signings and with grealish gone they might move the ball a bit quicker.

With some detail: City will wear down the league as usual; Chelsea with Tuchel and its squad will do very well and run City close; United will add a few points to this year's tally due to their additions but it won't be enough to compete if the football doesn't change; Liverpool will get top 4 comfortably but won't look like getting more than that; and Leicester will be best of the rest easily but lack quality and depth for top 4 now the others are calmly strengthening.

I have no idea for 6th but had to put someone out of Everton (not with negative Benitez and their squad), Spurs (not with negative Nuno and their squad), West Ham (probably a fluke last year), and Villa (well, why not them then).

Should be an interesting season with City, Liverpool, United and Leicester all pretty strong on paper. Maybe even Spurs too depending on what happens with Kane.

There is still a lot of business to be done in the market, but my prediction as of right now will be the same top four in the same order as last season, Leicester 5th and Arsenal 6th

Don't think I predicted United to finish top 4 in either of the last two seasons.

It's time. One week before the season starts.

1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,

Go!

Please don't add a load of qualifiers to your predictions (if club X signed player Y then I think this...).

I just want your predictions of top six given what we all know now.

Once the season starts then no further "predictions" will be eligible for the prize.
